Loving that white Rallye. Little update; managed to scratch my arch and panel pretty badly when driving quickly into a parking space so I'm gonna get it into a cheapish body shop soon. Because of that and bike problems I've decided not to buy new shocks, just -50mm springs. £250 is a lot to spend on a car anyway, and it's not like I'm a good driver or need a good car lol. Should be getting some white alloy wheel paint soon and some mixed paint to do the bumper strips. Will get some pics up when done lowering. PS: if that chavved up saxo had normal paint, smaller wheels and no body kit it would be the best thing ever.

I'm a twat, almost wrote off my car and put me plus 2 mates in hospital tonight. Was racing down some road that I sort of know, went to quick into the corner, let off (which apparently was the worst thing to do?) and the back just slid straight away 180, had the clutch down and brake on luckily managed to keep it. Ended up about 2 foot from a granite wall. Scariest moment of my life, was shaking for ages and felt sick. Never again.

Don't think that's going to be enough, I want it to be much lower but have better handling. With that suspension package in the link above does that include rear shocks as well? Or do you have to adjust the torsion bar to accomodate for the lower front and thats it?

Cheers for that. Adjustable ride height isn't something I would want over better handling really. I think I will get the setup below at -50mm so I get the looks I want with much better handling. You getting coilovers or springs? Anybody know how much different coilovers make handling and feel wise, had 40mm lowering springs on my last car and they did f**k all apart from make it stiffer.

Cheers, um nothing much until a can save up some more cash, kinda cleaned me out buying that car haha. Hopefully lower it about 60mm on springs or coilovers if I have the cash, spray the wheels white, colour code bumper strips, possibly a badgeless grill, possibly smoked lights (definitely side repeaters). Quite like the look of them just standard, back looks seriosuly high though....

To be honest I don't go out to the clubs and pubs in town but anyway.... in St.Helier there are loads of clubs within like 5 minutes walking distance and they're all quite good, age wise.... if your 16/17 but look 18 you will definitely get in. It's very safe as well, you can pretty much walk around any part at any time and be fine. You want to stay around the Liberation square/Weighbridge area as thats where most of the clubs are, also right next to taxi ranks and bus station. You can go further into the town but just expect pubs and restaurants really. Where abouts are you staying Ben?
