madmen hey dout they'll do the rails like that thou might lead to quite a few court cases. as rails are meant for you to run your hand down them lol

still sliding about i've cleaned everything with white spirit and geased up the old QR's. its fine for about 10 minutes of riding then slips down after doing a few smallish drops/gaps any other ideas? i've tried putting the second spring back also Cheers Harry

Yeah forgot, The wheel is pretty tight I have to use lot of strength to close the Qr. Don't really wanna tighten them any more

Well after a good 4 hours of tweaking i've given up for the moment and wondered if someone could help/had the same probelm?? Basical the whole tensioner is moving up at the axel while riding, i had to play around with the springs too, because it comes with 2. So took one of those off thinking this might be the probelm having to much tension? but still moves. The chain runs pretty nicely (straight chain line) and the "foot"? of the tensioner makes full contact with the chain. Any ideas Cheers Harry

I have managed to find a pair of wheel second hand both chris kings so i'm sorted and keep it fixed on the front. thinking of getting that 74 Kings tensioner, get rid of the big old rear mech (was going to use it as the tensioner)

yeah i got some and thought it was pretty nice, good lock and no slip fooking loud to, until i noticed how badly it gums your magura pistons up!! get a grind and nice Pads

i'm using the forged Echo (Screw on) Cranks and with an Echo Bash so is the Chris King Much much better then??

right i've been scheming these are the options Shitty Dmr Hub Fixed with ACS Claws, and Tensioner and New rim, spokes + other bits = £120 Zoo Fixed Hub with Tensile Front Freewheel, Tensioner and New rim, spokes + other bits = £204 Pro 2 Hub Tensioner and New rim, spokes + other bits = £244 what do you think, i am skint. but what would be best in the long run? cheers harry

i heard that they undo quite a bit but i just worked out how much i might possibly get paid and might do it proper and get the trials pro 2

hey i've been riding rear freehubs all my life and just wondered what people thought of changing to front?? i'm sure can't be only person lol i know it would probably look pretty crazy for a while(chain moving while you coast) but this means i could run a tensile on the front instead of a ACS Claw..... which would be nice. cheers harry

just wondered if supercycles bugger everyone who orders off them about??? i had a ring about getting a few new bits, mech hangers and little things on wedneday. and paid for them then too. he guy said yeah i'll send them off today so hopefully be with you thursday, which was nice didn't come at all so i thought leave til monday and still f**king nothing! argh. harry sorry for being a moody bitch but i've just got home from work and wanted to ride so bad!! been riding me m8s little Mod and its nothing like the T-rex

hey i ride i T-rex and have just had the same probelm, the guess stem and onza t-raptor bars felt like they were going to snap so i managed to buy the Zoo CNC stem off a mate and ordered in some Onza alloy Riser bars. ( plus 20mm of stem spacing) But i haven't been able to ride it yet due a small probelm woth snapping my rear mech hanger and smashing the mech it self. lol my bad i asure u. i'll let you know how i get on, cause the bars are only £30. i'm looking for new pads too btw let me on if you get some, running quite a light grind. cheers harry

well just gave super cycles a ring and they seem to be able to do me a half price mech, probably not the hanger though. yeah the plan is to buy i whole new wheel next time i get paid you see! i'm got a shitty DDG hub which keeps skipping, so i'm thinking or getting a fixed hub, (this has all gotta be quite cheap ) and a freewheel sprocket. then it twill be single speed and i'll get a onza tensioner or something. and when thats done my bike should be up to a standard where i shouldn't have to retire EVERY f**kING RIDE!!!!!! yeah what you think? harry
