Just realised I don't think I've posted a pic of my current car yet. Seems to fit in well with the rest of this forum anyway, lots of girls cars Apologies for the absolutely shocking pictures, I still haven't actually taken any good ones of it. For those interested, its the 3.5litre v6 model And so far, has been 1000% more reliable than my 350z. Also seems an awful lot faster despite on paper being very similar.

Got an SLK350. Same size engine as the 350z, and ever so slightly quicker.

I would never give up a car just to save 80 a month. I can't imagine you will after a month or 2 either. Last time I changed my car I had 2 weeks where I was without car (still used the gf's though) and it was horrible.

I can't physically start my car without pressing the clutch otherwise I'd probably do the same...

My old car was about 200...current one is nearly 4 times that :/

Just for the record, an Ibiza has the 130 and a 160 (which I presume is the same as the 150 just with a different map? - however I never read much about them failing so perhaps not). The 130 comes in sport and fr models. 160 being the cupra. Also fabia VRS is the 130. Haven't followed the entire convo so not sure if you just wanted a Leon or not.

Ok so I'm contemplating changing my car again (I know, very Jardo esque). I need more space basically (and I have found some hidden secrets of it too) so I'm thinking of changing for something else. Probably will be in a month or so when I do change (once I've moved into my house basically). Requirements: Ability to get a bike in or on it Quick - I'd like to stay sub 6 seconds 0-60, or close enough anyway. Nothing older than 04 Less than 100k Manual preferably Budget...not sure but say 8k ish Probably needs to be from a garage so I can trade mine in (lazy). Go!

Talking of which, I took a picture of mine the other day: (very much like my profile picture in fact...). Whilst I am at it, here is a before and after pic of my wheels (refurbed them - not the best finish but they'll do). And another, sans bumper - (was replacing light ballast).

Just bought a house, currently waiting for it all to go through etc but will be about 700 a month. It's a 3 bed semi with 2 garages and a large overgrown garden. Should be fun

Nah that really is easy. See my post earlier. I got 70+ on a 700 mile round trip to Aberdeen. (It indicated high 70s, but was actually 70.something in reality)

I sold my ibiza pd130 (remapped also to around 170) had various other mods too, for around 2k. So yup, definitely possible. Also worth noting I averaged 60+ on pretty much every journey, sometimes into the 70s! And now I get 25 ish....

Kind of relevant...my brother has one, and we took it to cornwall on a recent holiday. Went in the sea in it, was great fun! Properly inflated and positioned seats are a big factor as to how much you'll be hurting the next day
