Hey, I'm still learning to drive so I've not picked up any bad habbits. My instructor always makes me do this junction where I come out of a test center, over a pavement onto a road. I've leanred that I need to slowly move forward and stop before pavement, make sure theres no hazzards, then more forward to the curb and stop again to check for cars e.t.c. I doubt theres a law against it but I dont think it was very sensible if she came straight out, then again you were on the pavement so you were both in the wrong, If I was you I wouldnt give her a penny lol.

The easiest way I know is using a 'Cross-over cable', It'll allow you to plug 2 laptops straight into each other and share files / an internet connection, Dont confuse it with a 'Network cable' which is used to connect a computer to a hub / switch / router. If theres already a wireless network set up between them it'd probably make more sense to use that.

I think he just used the Windows Wizzard thang to detect the camera the first time he plugged it in and uses My Computer to open the pictures. If that is the case this is the only thing I can think of - Plug the camera in and turn it on, goto Start > Control Pannel (Make sure its Category View), Performance and Maintenance > System. Goto the 'Hardware' tab and click 'Device Manager'. At the bottom of the list it should say "Universal Serial Bus Controllers", Extend that by clicking the little plus to the left of the name, See if your camera if listed there, If you are not sure just double click it and it'll tell you the manufacturer which would be Fuji Film or whatever. If you manage to find it on the list double click it (Same menu that tells you the manufacturer), You could TroubleShoot it, Update driver (Out of date driver isnt likely but worth a try) or Uninstall the driver, Unplug the camera then plug it back in and let windows detect it If that didnt help I'm not sure whats wrong, sorry

Fdisk is a really hard way to partition a computer unless you're experenced and I dont think he wants it partitioned, that will just create another disk virtually but drive C:\ with all the files e.t.c. will still be there. I think what he wants to do it format it (Wipe everything off the HD) then reinstall windows with office e.t.c. If you wanna do that and you've lost the disk then you could download it again and burn it, you just need to make sure you get the right version (Windows XP pro SP2 With Office) or whatever. You'll also need your CD key, You can download a program to tell you yours, you'll need to write it down. You just put the boot disk in and restart your computer, then follow the on screen commands. If theres loads of partitions just delete them all and create a new one with an NTFS filing system (It'll just say something like 'Create new NTFS partition'), once you have a new partition you can install Windows on it. It's not impossible to figure out, its like a linear set of instructions and form filling unless you're not computer illiterate. It's the same disk that you use to format, partition, repair and install the OS. The 2 main disks you need will be the boot disk and the motherboard disk (what they are calling the manfucatures disk). If you put the boot disk in, restart and windows boots up normally, then the primary boot device is probably set to the HD. To change it you wanna restart, at the POST screen (Black and white scrolling text) hit the key to enter your BISO (Del on the number pad normally works for me, If that dosnt work try F8). In the BISO you can go threw the menu and you'll see a list with 1st, 2nd, 3rd boot device, You want the 1st to be the CD drive and 2nd to be your hard disk. After the reformat the computer will be just the way it was when it came out of the box. If you dont get something you could PM me, If thats another language get a mate who knows what he/she is doing

Hey - I know its a double post but the thread died My bike just arrived, Just like to say thanks to Tartybikes and everyone who helped me on the forums <3

My opinion will be a little different cause I dont own a trials bike yet. I know if shit loads of people in my area did it, I probably wouldnt be that interested. It's not really a big thing here I dont think, I've only ever see 2 different people in my town on a trials bike and they werent locals. I've always knew what trials was, Just never appealed to me until now, When my bike arrives I'll probably just goto the hills at the back of my town and pratice / ride about, it something different to do and it looks like a lot of fun.
