  1. Pahahaha, lucky shit. He can't even be arsed to fix a puncture for the listing
  2. Where do you stand? Preferably not in front of a door. Sorry, that's not useful at all.
  3. Gotta get an author or producer in there for it to be a valid reference. If he jumped out and landed in a small bush that's cool, but he's not falling far before he hits the tree. Also I guarantee that tree made him bleed.
  4. Buy a baby doll and throw it at groups of people.
  5. I figure uploads are from device to PC, or from PC to internet - so from smaller scale to larger scale. Downloads are the opposite. Transfer is much less confusing.
  6. Clearly, Sam, you've never put your bike next to a working radiator. I can tell you it's a terrible idea. The first thing that happens is all the plastic components soften and deform, and then the paint bubbles and flakes off. Your tyres will burst. The heat won't melt your bike but it will soften it a bit so it'll be out of shape. It'll feel weird to ride after then.
  7. Oh no, yeah you're right. Anyway that means roadies who make their way around kerbs and patches of glass must be trials riders.

    Films!?

    Prometheus is cool.
  9. That's stupid. The video wasn't bad though.
  10. Yeah, I mean you get loads of road cyclist and commuters riding over walls and rocks, how could I forget?

    Films!?

    Course it will.
  12. Why is trials only in comps and rocks? Then if you're not riding in a comp you can't be riding trials by that logic. If an obstacle course is expanded to include street, a manual might, will, be quicker over an obstacle. Mark W mentioned it in another topic, BMX has many styles: park, street, race, dirt. Riders of each can all call themselves BMXers. Why can't trials riders who use flow and rolling moves call themselves trials riders? Why would they want to when they get so much shit from their community? If someone asks you to do Danny Mac's tricks, you should tell them he rides a different style of trials to you, not that he doesn't ride trials.
  13. Define trials: Negotiating objects on a bike. Ok, so manuals and 180 drops are covered by that, so that's your point made invalid. Next?
  14. Have a vague idea of things I want to try and then do those. Or sometimes, no plan.
  15. Is that... A front brake... on a brakeless bike? Then it's not brakeless.
  16. Lol. So who are you again?
  17. Seeing as you quoted me, I'll answer. It's called the gyroscopic effect, and it's the reason why bikes tend not to fall over when they're moving, unless they hit something.
  18. How incredibly wrong you are.
  19. I was thinking of getting hold of a brand spanking new one. Apparently since the taiwanese took over the quality went up. It'd be a 36 hole hub, I've found a rim I can buy now.
  20. The vimeo video doesn't appear. The youtube video did play, however.
  21. What does TF know about Sturmey Archer hubs? My getaround bike's rear hub seems totalled now, so I was thinking of getting the Sturmey Archer hub I was intending to get for it a while ago. I can't find out much about them in regards to strength though. I'm not on about tanking it off huge drops, just kerbs and that type of stuff. I want to know if one will handle that.
  22. That was great, you handle the bike like it weighs nothing.
  23. Enjoyed that, this and Ben Travis' video are the type of trials I really like to watch.
