I think one of the first trials video's i ever downloaded was from mikebentham.com, I think you were riding a dark red Jamis at the time. I thought this video was really good. Some of the stuff you get up is massive, and natural normally looks a lot easier than it really is on a video. Good stuff i really like the part at 1:20.
Yeah, i'm sure they are fine for most people, I tend to be quite heavy on forks. I'm not sure what the strength differance between and alloy and steel steerer is, it's more of a confidence thing for me really.
Nobody minds at the Hampshire competitions about gears. I have never intentionally changed gear in a section & I don't think I have seen anyone else change gear in section at a Hampshire trial.
Looking for something similar to the aluminium legged, steel steerer Koxx fork (for 26" wheel) but with V brake mounts. Does anyone know if something like this exists and if so where from? Thanks
