I think trials might need a little more coverage for the next trials personality to appear. Maybe more coverage of the National Events with a league table in MBUK and just things to create more hype. Or every year have ALL the British masters riders going to the bike show, format a speed trials comp ultra tech course (for slow riding) to try and get the audience into it picking favourite riders etc. But I'd love to see anyone mentioned here being the next trials personality.

It might be worth getting a magnetic screw driver and run it around the teeth on the hub and see if there is any broken metal in there, and check the freehub where the springs go in etc. That might cause it to lock up.

Thanks for the replys! The 2nd clip was a pedal up but I tapped it a bit too high and finished pedaling quite early I think thats why it looks a bit weird. I might try starting again some time with a new video, thanks. Daniel.

I thought most of the grip comes from choosing a nice tyre pressure rather than the compound it self?

I was running IRC el gatos at the time I don't think it's down to the tyres them self but I run 40 psi front and rear, it was raining a little bit and everything was wet. I just wanted to make it to back wheel in the conditions how they were. If I changed something to make it easier for my self it just wouldn’t be the same feeling when you finally make it. :lol: I remember feeling a bit ill after trying it so many times, excellent!
