RAM is easy as hell, you just plonk it in! Same with graphics card, depening on which one, although most likely, you will have to install drivers.

I belive Gimp do a portable one, maybe if you have a pen drive that will be able to store it, then again have you ever installed/download something on your computers at school before? If all else fails, politely ask the technicians and they might be able to put it on as its an essential program?

Ages ago i had a similar problem where the icon keeps reappearing on the desktop kind of virus. I got recomemned a few ones, one of them which was spybot, and there was another one i can't put my finger on. It wasn't a professional virus remover, just one some genius made i presume but it did the trick, any ideas on the name?
