i hate chain reactions like this. here's mine mech hanger snapped so i shortened the chain so i could ride home. this was too tight an bent my chainring. stripped the crank threads using a crank puller i'd borrowed. hit cranks with hammer. no use hit harder but missed and dented my fame tried again and hit my chainring (idiot) so yeh this is all due to my stupidity. it just fels like one thing after another sometimes.

It sounds to me like your chainring is worn. id recomend getting a new one.

my mate applied to the police force at 19 but they wouldn't take him as they like people to ave had life experience. i've also been told that the police force don't like employing younger people as people dont respect young people, to which i can understand. for example if i was to try stop a fight between two chav's theyd probably turn round hit me and tell me to piss off. but if my dad tried to stop a fight theyd take alot more notice i'd imagine. i'm 18 by the way. what about maybe trying to find an appreticeship. i'm an apprentice electrician and i love it. hope i've helped. loz.

yes but you wont be able to set it up right and the pads still probably wont hit the rim. you neeed the tensile offset mounts.
