  1. Seems to be missing a very important part?
  2. /facepalm. As said above really, try a booster to stiffen things up a deaden the grind, not a lot else you can do really, without sacrificing performance.
  3. Nahh, this mofo won't be snapping any time soon, it's not the £80 series 3

    Leeson 609

I like it! Looks like a 24" 660 - not gonna be doing any sweet tucks on your sidehops then? I need another one so badly...

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeey!!! Got it done then? Make the pics work and i'll say something more about it
  6. That's cheap for what it is! It's not actually as bad as it looks, those two crosses are the only un-repairable bits, bulkhead's pretty f**ked but i've got a spare for it, got a new wiring loom, spare engine, all the right bits and pieces for it, canvas tilt etc all inside that £1800 - it's getting stripped down, the welding it needs doing done, re-painting underneath, gettng it ready for an mot and, well, an MoT - 6 weekends work max and it'll be worth about £4000 minimum - one identical to what this will be like went for £4500 on egay a month a go., so if i were to sell it i'll have probably doubled my money provided i dont go ape shit with my cash for what's left to do to it. Prices of them are going up fast too but i'm not planning on selling it ever anyway. Worked hard for the money, wanted a landy, wanted a project - this is a savings account with wheels; i'm never gonna lose anything on it...
  7. Not true. If i tried washing my cat, granted it may initially take half an hour, but it'd then take me the rest of the day waiting around in A&E to get my face sewn back together.
  8. As said, spare a thought for what the day's about and you'll be more than welcome
  9. How much have you got to play with now? I reckon i can find you something.
  10. Quit worrying, i was always pretty shit and rode with a lot of very good riders - as long as you're good company and can have a laugh, i can guarantee none of them will care how good a rider you are. It does you good too, you progress a lot faster when you ride with people who are better than you.
  11. From what i remember, the chainstays were mad long on those so could be a bit of a dog on the back wheel. Depends how new-school you want to get really, if you're looking to get a bit more pure trialsy, look out for a short Zoo Pitbull/ Echo Control or something, still retains some nice flickability but they've got a far more modern geo, so ride proper trials nicely too.

    St Georges Day

You and me both! Was absolutely incredible on the patriotism/ excuse to get utterly wasted-o-meter, i think we as a country need to be prouder of being English for the one day a year.
  13. Haha, i was joking man My own fault really, but for an 80 it still is cheap, considering the good ones are selling for £15k+ Any jopy finding anything yet?
  14. Cheap? i'm £1800 down on it as it stands, including fuel i've spent getting it here
  15. This thread; it r dead. Anyway, i'll continue the one-man show. Finally got Bernard home the other day, full damage report; The bodgetastic side of life;
  16. Yeah dude i'll be there no matter what! Hopefully on another 24, if not it'll be the bmx if i still have it by then, and if i'm bike-less i'll be there for shits and giggles, and to keep Charlie company on the walks to and from spots where he'll inevitably get left behind again
  17. I'll bet you/ someone squeezed the lever? Take the pads out, ease the pistons back with a flat headed screwdriver. Should be fine, if anything starts leaking fluid you've f**ked it. My first Hope did that, split the diaphragm in the lever when i accidentally pumped the brake with no rotor in.
  18. It'll be featuring in the OMG PROTO FRAME DROP GAP 2 GRINDER ARMAGEDDON sequel shortly.
  19. They're a piece of piss to make.
