Not very thick at all, i had to machine mine down a bit to fit in my seat-tube. Only took a tiny bit off, seems pretty thin now though. Wouldn't want to take the amount you need off to get it down to 22mm though, could see there being a distinct lack of metal by the end of it!

I can think of maybe 1 at my local skatepark, and even that's cramped. I love my seat, crusing between spots, or the awesome that is do something, sit down, roll away. Sweet

Fair few people have done it dude! (myself included) All depends on what the geo was originally, only change is that the bb get's dropped, effectively, by 25mm. As a general rule, it just means it's not quite so smart on the rear wheel, still within the realms of trials though. Depends on your style of riding too, eg it'd work pretty badly for a TGSer, but streety riders would probably enjoy it more (i know i did - was great fun) lower bb's lend themselves to manuals, bunnyhops and spins pretty well
