  1. I can see this going back to the "how many trials-forum members does it take to change a light bulb" thing
  2. Shell/ sloped walls - it's all the same place
  3. Yep, especially with it being shown before the draw?
  4. Looking good so far! So, everyone good with 7 at shell/ sloped walls? Just need to know if that's ok with y'all so I can tell Mr. Hodges the exact plan
  5. Get yourself an angle grinder! With tar it's always a case of less is more, how much have you put on?
  6. Chimpy you absolute hero
  7. Reminds me of someone's Inspired Looking good though, much better than the usual silver/ anodised thing on tgs bikes!
  8. Thought you northern lot were meant to be hard?
  9. G forces only affect you when it's accelerating/ slowing down/ turning/ whatever, so if that was done in an appropriate manner (i.e not going POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR to accelerate and being gentle with it) you could go as fast as you like and not really notice it.
  10. Dude! I remember looking at your 609 every day in IT and drooling - honestly was/ is one of the nicest looking bikes the world has ever seen. Good to have you back! Are you about this weekend (saturday mainly 'cos i'll be there then)? There's a memorial ride in Bristol for Beau, gonna be a fair few riders there, and a few on 24"s (myself included) more than welcome to come and have a play! Meeting at 10:30 at the steps outside Temple Meads, if not i could give you a shout when we get to Castle Park if that makes things easier for you? Matt
  11. Steps (big ones by the road, i assume) outside Temple Meads at 10:30
  12. Me and Matt are driving And awesome stuff Joel/ Nick! Mr. Manning, you better be on the new steed...
  13. How the f**k did you get validated!? From what I can gather, seems a good plan (getting a new thread cut, welding is a bad idea) - thoroughly check EVERYTHING before you get it done though!
  14. Few guys fancy a night ride, i'm wellll up for it - has been ages since the last one i did! Myself and Matt Bird are gonna be riding all night then heading off to Bristol, everyone else is gonna be going home at about 5am when the trains get running again. So, where to meet and at what time, and who's up for it? See you there, sleeeeeeeeeeeegz
  15. Nice one Matt! 5:00 looks a little scary haha! And 5:12 onwards was just insane - who is that on the Ashton? I think I just fell in love
  16. Nice one, getting pretty beasty in your old age! Down to fronts are possibly one of the most ridiculous, illogical things i've ever seen
  17. It is possible, i did it with mine (and hacked a chunk out of it to clear the funky leeson mech hanger arangement) I just took it apart and fiddled 'til it worked upwards, sorry i cant be more specific! Ross' idea would work absolutely fine though, give that some thought
  18. Matt Bird (if the tiredness doesn't kick in and we survive the drive home)
  19. Beau's memorial ride this weekend - there'll be a fair few people (me included) there on saturday!
  20. I'll be out - fancy London friday night and Bristol saturday?

    24" Riders...

Couldn't agree more with that! I broke my 80mm 20* stem on the tour, changed to a 100mm x 10* stem (admittedly with an extra 5/10mm [i cant remember] stacker underneath) and it made such a huge difference to the bike, feels brilliant now! Really good for both streety manually bunnyhoppy goodness, and also sits fine on the back wheel now. That's all with sam's old 2.5/3" (can never remember) riser bars
  22. We're riding an all-nighter in London friday, driving to Bristol saturday morning and living off Red Bull and such - see you there boys! Cant do both days though
  23. .. Matt Bird and I will be spooning in a Travelodge/ Grant's kitchen. Sweet.
  24. If we're going to the "show me x" argument, i stand by mine. If someone shows me a BMXer who taps, gaps, sidehops, hooks, up-to-fronts etc etc in their normal riding, not just learnt for said video, i'll accept that he and the rest of us other 24"/ street riders are BMXers.
