Now that the Malcolm in the Middle theme tune's out of the way... I'd say yes. Moving from stock to 24" was one of the best things i've done bike-wise, so much fun! Absolutely love it, even though i'm pretty shit it's always fun to ride.
Luke, i would actually cry if you couldn't do this - it's our b*****d lovechild! In related news; i forgot i need money for this after rinsing every last penny i had. Whoooops.
Got a smaller front tyre! Was running a 2.5 high roller up front for a bit (had some serious tyre clearance issues when I changed frames) the 2.35 Larsen just wouldn't fit at all. I put the 2.35 high roller back up front when i got another for the back and it fitted ok, only with a tiiny little rub which sorted itself out. Lesson to learn; Deng is gay.
24"s use 26" forks, problems only come up if you wanna use a front rim brake. Even then you could use some Onza's that come on the Zoot, or get some Pashley's/ similar with lowered mounts. I think Trialtech are gonna be releasing some forks with 24" mounts sometime soon, though?
Why does everyone keep saying this? Is it the new cool thing to do or something? Danny is a trials rider, just one who's doing something a bit different (to the trails world, that is) And yes, i'm expecting the "no way man, he's a bmxer on an Inspired" comments - how many bmxers do you know who ride like that?
Pffft, that's just plain wrong. They all have them under the driver's seat, and it's only diesel so wont explode too much... Anyway, having it in the tub would take away from my bike/ shit/ noise-making devices/ people space!
Yeah, it's one of the main spots we ride in Southend, gets a bit monotonous but it's a good place to practice. Add me on msn if you like, it's in my profile
Absolutely! I always watch a selection of 'em on the train into London if I actually plan on riding, although I can't say that any of the Zoo vids feature in that
