  2. For the price, tensile all the way! Quality bit of kit for a very good price! But if you can afford it, get an ENO
  3. Specialized aren't that bad! You'll be fine bumping up and down kerbs occasionally, i'd never do it on mine with the tri-spoke, but you'll be fine with the normal rims Have you ever ridden with look cleats? I'd strongly recommend some! Feel so good! Have a look on the fleabay, would be surprised yo what you can get for £300! If you want to be really cool, i have a spare disc wheel in the garage
  4. will do Gotta sort through the random/ utterly shite ones first!
  5. Be afraid. FP is stalking you.
  6. It's grim, but you're one step closer to becoming a wing commander
  7. I saw something just like that, but a bit bigger, going over my house when i was little, never worked out what it was mind
  8. If i've learnt one thing from today, it's that subway did not consider camelbacks when they introduced the free refills offer.
  9. Exactly what Luke said. I had that problem with mine, and couldn't see what the funk was wrong with it, until i saw that the top-cap wasn't even touching the stem :$ Hopefully some spacers'll sort it! Matt

  13. hehe, i getcha Took me a couple of weeks to get confident on the back wheel, then just go from there really!!
  14. Ignore the age gap! Everyone's in it for the same reason, so why should it matter? The box idea is good, lots of people get palets/crates from industrial estates to practice on Start off with trackstands, then try rocking onto the backwheel and hopping etc. Just various things until you're comfortable on the bike! Also, have a look on Trashzen for tips and other things to learn If you want to go and unleash yourself on the streets, just go do it! It's the only way to learn!! Matt
  15. Put the handbags down. I'll make the journey up

  19. Oh right, mis-read what you said. Try a longer one then EDIT: Have you got room to fit casette onto the hub or is it purely singlespeed?
  20. Try a shorter bb What rear hub are you using?
  21. Firstly, welcome to the forum I've been riding on and off for a year or two and i absolutely love the sport! As for your bike, it's a great choice to learn on! Decent spec, good geo, can't go wrong really! I ride a street-orientated stock (26") and have my tyres at around 25psi so it'll roll nicely for spinny streety moves, yet still holds on to walls etc well. It's personal preference really. Pump it up, ride, hop around a bit and if you don't like it, let a little air out. Repeat until you find what you're comfortable with Feel free to add me on msn if you've got any questions or just want someone to talk to Matt
  22. Dan's not going dude, neither am i, knee is still a beatch. See you monday
