yeah a buddy of mine was at one point bringing new stuff with him every ride as a substitute for tar (cough matt cough), syrup, honey, coke, chocolate, marshmallows all this crazy crap but seriously tar is the best, i just keep a little chunk in the lighter pocket, well no anymore cuz my lighters in there but you get the point, its not worth the extra effort to find an alternative.

amazing just amazing. Could you throw some pics of your rolling shot rig my way id love to give that a try. And seriously you are the most stylish and best street trials rider there is, NO QUESTION!!

I'm big into metal and heavy stuff. I just like music for music not because i follow any craz or stuff like that. If i liked what simple plan played i would listen to them, i love linkin park and evanesance has some good songs. If you dont have it the road runner compilation album is amazing, youtube it. Silent civilian, scar symmetry, lamb of god, devil driver and drill point are my favs right now.

bout 2 years now. And yeah i just wanted to make a video with a long intro cuz it was meant to be for people who had no idea what trials was. It was only a minor success i think. Thanks for the comments.

good video the wtf, why cant people go spend the 100 bucks to buy a camera of ebay that can shoot more then 4 fps. And the people who insist on shaking the camera all around like a douche, seriously its not that hard to hold a camera people.

Do you mean like a front to rear thing where your on the front wheel then u switch right to rear. If so i think its a great thing to start working on now. If you just endo into it then when your moving to gaps and ups to front wheel you will already have this more or less down. So throw a small endo but instead of getting your rear wheel really high move your hips forward and into the stem and bend your knees a little to scoop the rear wheel up a bit. Now jump up not back off your arms and throw the bars forward and up. Tuck as much as you can and make sure u bend your knees to bring the bike up into you. Remember that you will need to release your front brake to do this but it helps to have a bit of modulation, i find it gives me some stability if that makes sense. Really just work on it alot and watch the pros do it. People like vince, gilles and james can do it so effortlessly and can actually land the rear wheel infront of where the front wheel was.

yeah i heard him talking about that. I have the 08 echo and have had not problems with it at all. There are no leaks and the lever has only a bit of play in it. If i were you however i would just buy a magura, the better brake over all and what pros do u see running echos vs maggies.
-
i already have the cousts and they really really suck. I got the ones with black backings and i had to shred on half a chunk of tar to have any preformance at all. Cousts get the a no way from me boys. But the heatsink whites look like a good idea, Has anyone used them, are they solid for smooth/dull ground rims.
-
so should i be looking to buy the heatsink yellows since my cousts arnt nice. I want to run a worn grind and wear it to smooth. Yellow or white i guess?

No man i think its a cool line of thought u know. Like in the 80s they wouldnt have dreamed that we would be cruising the internet and buying shit from taiwan from our desksa a decade later. If they try for one of these in five or ten years they might have and ill belt drive that would be mad silent and stuper tough thats weighs next to nothing. And maybe if they made some sorta link like a chain but burly in the material so that you could split it. Maybe a friction joint or something with a little spring in it.
-
If your in the UK or West coast NA then getting stuff shouldnt be too hard. The only thing that is different from a 26 are the rims. Just get some of the atomlab rims like danny or a DX32 and youll be set.

I have one of the 08 echo brakes and i really like mine. Though i liked the maguras on james hydroxx alot better.

yeah i need riser bars and i wanted the monty ones but hugo dont have them. Are the tryalls nice, strong good geo??
-
wait im counfused. Where you high or somin, it didnt hurt?? LOL Yeah riding without a helmet, yes i do it sometimes, is way scarier.

sick video but its really old. I remember seeing it a couple of years ago on trials-online.
-
Yeah if you get a bigger cam you can adjust a little more. You could always get a tug set up like the threshold ones that physically pull the axel back and support it on bolts. PS: For snail cams try to get the notched ones, the adjustment isnt as precise but provides way way way more support so your axel wonder move.

When i started i was really crappy at sides. Eventually after breaking my 3rd hanger i just gave up and didnt work on them at all. Now ive come back a year or so later and their coming alot more naturally. I like to concentrate on landing your front wheel first but also really work on jumping alot. Really bend your legs when you go to take off and get your body as over the wall as you can. Just because your tires are on the wall dont mean youve made it but if your body is all the way up there then u can at least 1 your way through. Also, work on jumping alot first and try to get as little tuck as possible. There are some fags who will do like a 3 foot hop but tuck all the way, unless your really really weak you shouldnt have to. I think the idea is to tuck as little as possible and to jump as much as you can. Once you get better start working on your other side (forward or back foot side) and try going straight to 2 wheels then straight to rear. Landing sidehops on the rear is really hard but its alot of fun and looks just so sexy haha. Hope this helps, Ian

was doin a 6 foot pedal gap and took off way to early, my back foot slipped off the pedal and landed on the edge of the wall and my rear hit about 3 inches down right near the bashring. My head and chest were speeding forward and i hit my forhead right on the stem cap. Left a big dent in my helmet and almost broke some ribs (i think it sure felt like it). Yeah ive been riding once or twice without a helmet lately and i sure feel way less confident. Sidehops, gaps anything to front wheel are all really scary without a lide. Mines just so damn ugly lols.
