  1. I remember we had to wait most of the day for the 24tour to come. Might be better if your not 4 hours late
  2. Haha mine's from saving babies from a tiger infested orphanage being burned down by reincarnations of Hitler and Stalin

What was good about it was the visuals and the whole world they made for it, like Star Wars but way better picture. The plots not amazing but still, I'd definatly watch it again in 3-D
  4. I wouldn't start single speeding your bike, that way you'll have a bike you can ride long distances in the future. As for mod, stock and 24", really it would be best to try them. Try and get in contact with someone from around your area on here and see if you can join a ride and try some out. I assumed since I learned on a MTB I should get stock so did. But now, almost two years later, I think I could have got on fine and maybe improved faster. 24" I don't think are supposed to be too good for learning the basics but each to their own. Also for your third backhop video, your pushing forward to try and lift the back wheel. Instead try keeping your body more still in a sitting position and just lift your body up and bend your knees a bit to lift the wheel. It's hard to put into writing
  5. Keep the videos coming, they've been amazing so far

    Simplicity

    Loved it! Thanks for uploading
  7. The third one's set as private but the others are good. No it's just a matter of practising those till you get them Also, this is worth checking out - http://vimeo.com/3619353 A guide to most things
  8. A trackstand is staying still on the bike on both wheels. Fairly simple but takes a while to really get them effortless. A pedalkick is when you backhop going forwards by releasing the back brake, kicking on your cranks and lifting to got the forward motion and landing with the back brake on. Look at www.trashzen.com
  9. I started trials on my 19" Specilized Hardrock and got on fine with it. I started with things like pivots, bunnyhops and trackstands. I could never get pedal kicks becuase the engagments were pretty crap. Ideally, you would get a trials bike. The money spent on getting your Trek to be decently usable to trials is comparable to a second hand one. But for getting the basics until then it's fine.
  10. Holy moley! That's some swanky jazz.
  11. Any one else find milk sickening? It's only slightly bareable in cereal with cereal to milk ratio being 3:1

  13. Linlithgow, it's pretty close to Edinburgh so don't get those reception problems. My mums family lives there so it's one of those 'let's see the family' holidays. But get to bring bike so should be better this time
  14. Driving up to Scotland with family. Gotta love a bit of Scotland.
  15. On the 'next episode' bit at the very end it showed a flatland BMXer auditioning. Not trials but still good
  16. I think the wait at the beginning helped with that Ridiculous, definatly your best
  17. All was amazing, except maybe the song choice
  18. That gymnastics team was ridiculously good. The guy on the other guys head by one arm in all those funky positions was amazing
  19. Howdy, my left hand crank has been coming loose everytime I ride it so I'm constantly tightening it. My LBS told me it's simply new crank time. Currently they're Middleburns .I thought it would be cheaper to buy a pair of Trialtech Sport forged for the £50, also considering Tarty don't sell single Middleburns. I got them in the post today and took the Middleburns off but because I'm stupid I assumed the bashring would work with the Trialtechs. I haven't touched the Trialtechs so would it be best to return to Tarty? Another option would be getting a new bashring, but I have a 22t and I can only find 18t ones? Any advice? Thanks muchly
  20. I think most of the better riders can appreciate they were like that as well one day so they probably don't care that much and probably want to see you improve too
  21. Lose yourself and Till I Collapse by Eminem Eye of the tiger - the Survivors (if your into that sort of thing) And Hero by Bonnie Tyler
