  1. Close, but the DS stands for downside Just watch some Euan Beaden videos in slow motion Using the tongue face as a full stops
  2. Probably pushing my TF luck here, anyone have an Orange phone and could PM me a 2 for 1 cinema code? Would be most thankful
  3. Me and my friends used to spend a lot of time in the woods. Almost weekly along the side of the road going in their would be a bottle of wine and leftover porn was fairly consistently in a bush in a little bomb hole. One day my friend came out having found a DVD in pristine condition. Turned out to be the apple picking in our Garden of Eden.
  4. This might be worth considering for people driving in, couple road closures going on http://www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk/Info_Hub/Road_Closures.htm
  5. Does look pretty cool actually -
  6. Hoping I'll be able to come, it's a know the day before type of thing. Still can't due actual trials but could bring my normal bike and take some picture if that's cool with people
  7. Guy's still a douche Have the number to reserve in my phone now so hopefully I'll be able to call 5 minutes a head to book in future
  8. I do think the circumstances should have been taken into consideration more though. Thought it would be similar to when I was getting a plane that ended up getting pushed back a day and they paid for a hotel because it was their fault. I know reserving bikes ideal but because of the situation this was the only train I could get and having paid to get one of the trains that day I think they should have been more catering to the situation. I did wonder afterwards if I had just taken the wheels off and put then in a rubbish bag if I could describe it as luggage rather than a bike.
  9. I'm tempted to, just not sure if it's worth it. The train was delayed because of a suicide so they might say that like an act of god situation? He had said there was noting he could do, I tried pointing out contingency but he'd decided who was right.
  10. Went on a ride to Southampton today, so a little more than 100 miles and my train back got delayed. When it did come an hour and twenty minutes late I get on with my bike and the driver comes out to tell me to get off the train with no explanation. After a bit of me asking for some explanation it was because they're only allowed three bikes on the five carriage train at a time and they all have to be in the same bit. I said it was full and he said that it wasn't his problem and told me to get off. I then explained because of the delays this was the last train I could get home and asked if I was going to get a hotel paid for since because of their lack of service I'd have to sleep on a bench tonight. Still just kept saying not my problem, which was extra annoying because when I asked for a manager he said he was the manager and when I said 'so it is actually your problem' he just said get off again. After 15 minutes which involved the two other bikers getting involved who were in the same situation as me I got to stay on and the police getting called over, the other two bikers got off just because they were travelling together which is how the driver justified it. Just really angry about the whole thing and more so how he handled it. He came up to me afterwards saying I owed him an apology and I just said no, saying you handled that really badly. Started saying I should have got an ASBO and how people like me are terrible. Which reminds me of the other woman who worked on the platform who said 'I thought you looked like a decent one earlier'. I am angry about the whole thing.
  11. To be fair I struggle getting key rings on as well
  12. You are missing out, best PC game I'd say. Played it 8 years ago but only discovered the joys of lan games with my friends. It gets very heated though, it'll probably escalate to us not being friends any more
  13. Just lost a game of Age of Mythology
  14. Not sure why but not going to question it
  15. I kind of meant a more figurative 'you' rather then just you as a specific individual, should have made that more clear. I'm not so much worried about what other people think but just find it funny that we've been brought up to think like we do. If you could honestly have a man come in and sit down next to you wearing a dress and think nothing of it then fair enough, I just find that very hard to believe unless you were raised in a drastically different culture. It wasn't meant as an attack on you saying you were close minded, that's just what I think the vast majority of people would think. And wouldn't think of myself as a liberal, a conservative person can question something without having to change their beliefs. I don't really care enough for it to be a personal issue, although my sweaty legs restricted by trousers would disagree
  16. I'm pretty surprised you would question that bet. I just know that if I or any other male walked into their place of work or school or public wearing a dress or a skirt it wouldn't be considered normal, people would undoubtedly question why a man is wearing woman that is generally only worn by woman. It might be gay or funny but probably not thought of as being a practical solution for heat and comfort issues because of how closely items of clothing are linked to gender. I know a man can physically put on a dress and wear it, but I meant without any stigma attached to it, so to live in a place where a man could walk past you wearing a dress and you would have no more of a reaction than if he were wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
  17. But I've seen plenty of videos where much sexier things have happened... Well clearly I care enough to think it'd be great, just think of all the unrestricted leg movement. And I can think of a lot of people that care, extreme example being the kind of people that picket funerals. Arcade Fire had a video recently for the song We Exist where Andrew Garfield was dressed in drag and you just have to look in the comments to see how many people object to a man wearing clothes intended for women. You might not care as such but I'd bet if you saw a man walking down the street in a skirt you'd care enough to form an opinion pretty quickly.
  18. They probably couldn't do anything about it, I mean more so a world where men where dresses in a way that's more socially acceptable and there's no drag stigma to it. Everyone would see it as fabric rather than a gender image. I also can't really wear shorts in a lot of jobs without that being against the dress code. And women worry about flashing just as much as men would presumably, they too have genitals to display.
  19. Say something sleek and simple colours, not figure hugging but not so loose that it's entirely left to the imagination. Pictures would help so that we can see if this will really work
  20. It's hot today where I am as it has been the past few weeks and I've started to think wearing a dress would be much more ideal then the shirts and trousers I've been wearing. Curious as to whether other people would like to wear a dress and feel comforting breezes amongst your limbs or if 'society' has made us all to scared for the repercussions. Votes are private, so be honest with yourself here. Dresses and/or shirts here, no restrictions
  21. Just imaging a little bowl of seeds and a hamster bottle
  22. Never seen that much white guilt in the same place before, except maybe when the gap year companies visited my school.
