  1. College placement test went well. Even got a good algebra score without having done maths in two and a half years, multiple choice though
  2. Love his videos, 'call me a camper'
  3. Points made, now I see the errors in my ways Although I still think they're silly
  4. I think human rights can be broken when they infringe on other people's rights though. If burkas make people feel uneasy then I'd say majority rules, take it off.
  5. I mean people wearing them are legally required to take them off when asked by policemen.
  6. I've never made up my mind about it. On one side I think they should, just because if I saw someone wearing one coming towards me I'd wonder what they're hiding (I know they're not, that's just how I see it) in the same way I'd wonder why someone coming towards me felt the need to wear a balaclava. But then yea, free country and all but police should be allowed to remove them for precautionary sake.
  7. TF happiness has come full circle, that was the first post in the thread, I think?
  8. It's a big life change and I've got no one else to talk to over here at the moment But I'm not much help, I have dual citizenship so it's easy for me. Although winter in Canada is long and harder than the British, so you'd really have to bear that in mind.
  9. Amazing video, instant replay for me
  10. Stephen Fry speaks a lot of truth, the bit about their comedy characters being more quick witted is pretty true. And I'd noticed how much they say 'just kidding' after a joke. I'm going to keep trying and educate them Just wanted to clear things up
  11. I'm in America these days and my relatives seem to be under the impression that their American sense of humour is superior to the British one. They say that ours is too dry and we say ours is based more on irony and a load of other stuff like that. I didn't see too big a difference until The Office got involved. I think the British series were a lot better, mainly because it seemed more subtle with it's humour where as in the American the main gag would be driving a car into a pond. Ours is less in your face comedy, I think. Thoughts on this?
  12. Scrubbed it with hot water and washing up liquid earlier then hosed it. Kind of scared that'll just scared it though, have to see in the morning.
  13. I'm having the same issue with Chrome. Tried IE but that stops responding before I can try...
  14. Loved it, kind of missed your weirder little moves but cool seeing how much bigger your riding is now.
  15. I still think it would be better to have a small number go in than a big group of young people who haven't done much work into what they're asking. It's good to have a lot of riders go in to a meeting to show support and numbers, but for going in and asking to be taken seriously a big group isn't necessary or that beneficial. A few serious kids who can look like they know what they're talking about would be better than a big group who think they can just go in asking for a new skatepark.
  16. I wouldn't do that, it'd look better for maybe one or two of you go down and speak to them rather than going as a big messy group. And it's more than just pestering them, you need to research the location, the price range your asking for any sort of government grants that might be eligible for it. Then if you really are serious about it you'll have to organise meetings for it, or at least find out when a public council meeting is then go to that and raise it in any other business or something similar, and that way it's not just a communication with you, you'll have the response f anybody else there. Really it's a long process and if you're expecting to just continually ask for a new one you're not going to get anywhere, you'll have to at the very least do most of the initial work.
  17. I'd go in and try to speak to someone as soon as possible, at least try to get a councillor on your side who you can communicate with.
  18. This is no loling matter. I'm still just kind of 'meh'ing about it. See what happens I suppose...
  19. She does, but I'm only going to be part time there till September so I don't think my chances of seeing her there are that great either
  20. I've spoken to her a few times but she works at a counter so there's always customers that come along and put an end to it. And my chances of going in when she's there are pretty small so building up conversation isn't going to be easy. None of this is ideal, but she's seems to be the only person roughly my age that I have a chance of meeting. One of the drawbacks of coming over here
  21. Okay, so I've got a situation at the moment. It's basically been around 4 months since I've actually really spoken to anyone as myself who isn't my cousin or some other relative. I'm in a small town in America now and not going to school till the Spring and I can't see much opportunity for meeting people. The only exception to this is a girl I kind of know of who works in one of the two local shops. I'm kind of desperate to talk to someone I'm not related to at this stage and she's the only potential candidate I can see. Problem is I don''t know how to go around this, I just go in and ask if she wants to do something sometime? That seems quite simple but I think I'm over thinking this now...
  22. Loved the last one, you both seem to suit the Inspireds better. Want to see more like that
  23. Yea no Halfords over here Need it gone because it's on my Uncle's driveway, he hasn't said anything but I'd be pretty annoyed if I were him...
