  1. That was awesome, but got to say I'm missing your older avatar
  2. I can't see that trials-forum logo at the top right corner, I can see the bottom of it in the grey box but above is white except the advert banner. On Chrome by the way. Linked?
  3. Great riding, loved the lamp post bit especially.

I loved it Andrew Garfield was great and pretty much made it for me.
  5. Just sent my entry Hope it's got to you okay, I don't have much internet for a few weeks. Want to copyright some of the stuff in my video
  6. Yea it's unlocked and good for the US. Thanks for the replies, I'm sorted
  7. But if I needed the internet could I put my current sim card back in and use the internet okay? I'm assuming connecting to wifi in a cafe or something would work fine. Enjoying myself is hard with my family though chaos at the moment and will need some relief when I'm with them
  8. Got a few newbie questions, never done the whole pay monthly thing before, and if anyone can answer any I'd be much obliged. 1. Contract says 500mb of internet a month, does this include me using my home wifi connection? 2. I'm about to go to America. Talkmobile services said just get a pay as you go sim card when I'm there but now I've realised that means I don't get the same internet as my current sim does. Basically, what's the best way of using my phone and current sim card abroad? 3. Kind of the same question but because texts and calls are more expensive abroad, does this simply mean I get less texts and minutes because they're more expensive or are all over seas calls/ texts charged seperatly from the contract. I'm on a talkmobile contract, 7.50 a month I think. My dad just got it for me so didn't get to look into this before I got it.. Thanks

    Films!?

Project X was amazing, laughed so much the whole way through. Watched Pan's Labyrinth, wasn't at all what I was expecting, and that's a bad thing. I thought there was going to be cool moster things like the guy with the eyes in his hands, but that's hardly any of the movie.
  10. I can't decide if it would have been better for those genes to have drowned or survive for comedic purposes.
  11. I think that's only on the day riding though, not for camping. But having to pay in advance is the only way of organising these things were there is limited numbers. The field for camping will only fit so many people, it's not worth risking having way too many people turn up on the day and not be able to camp.
  12. Crux is still one of my favourite videos though. It's been a while since I've seen it but some of the riding in that's still more creative and appealing to me than most videos released these days.
  13. Wasn't expecting that at all. What happened to the blue balloon?
  14. Yea sounds like a pretty bad day but at least you didn't lose your anal virginity.
  15. That video was awesome, and the spots were amazing too.
  16. Flipp has made himself more than just a man, he's devoted himself to a brakeless ideal and become something else entirely. A legend. Guess which movie I just watched.
  17. At least you've saved your face in the future
  18. I always like these stories so if you've gotten away with something or escaped something post it up. One time me and my friends were messing around in a dump like place where there's lot of ledges, wheelies chairs and partially used fire extinguishers. To get in you had to climb under a hole in the fence. We were messing around on the chairs when a van came round and the driver shouted 'Stay right there!' so obviously we ran. I was closet to the van and furthest away from the escape and by the time I got there all I could do was stand and wait for my friends to get out first. Luckily they were fast enough but just standing there and having to wait and see if I'd get caught or not was really tense. Same place a year later same situation, but not in the enclosed bit this time. Guy came out on a quad bike to get us, so we ran as usual. We hid behind a bush and eventually I looked over to see if he was still there and, worse case scenario, we made eye contact and he revved his engine. We split into two groups of two, I was the only one on foot and luckily ran fast enough so he chased the other two leaving me and my escape partner to get away. Was kind of funny for us watching our friends pedalling manically away from a quadbike on flat ground. They got off with a warning, so was all good in the end. But getting chased by quad bikes is not fun. Any other stories?
  19. Judging question, how will the music be judged? I know this is probably a tricky one but is it more to do with the quality of the song or more in terms of how it works with in the context of the video? I imagine it'll be hard to judge since judges will have their personal preferences. Should I be studying judges videos to guarantee they'll hear a song they'll like?

    Films!?

I think he was a bit busy to be focussing on everything when he isn't invunerable, so that's why it worked then and not before. I mostly agree with you though, film had potential and I still liked it but could have been a lot better. Can't wait till the Amazing Spider-man. Spider-man over batman any day
  21. I'm going to have to disagree with that. I get that cycling is about freedom but when it comes to riding brakeless on roads that crosses a line for me. I've seen quite a few times now where riders not having brakes are the ones at fault for accidents were if they were following the law and had brakes the accident could have been prevented. When it comes to riding near roads I think it's too much to trust everyone else using it to be able to react fast enough to a cyclist that can't stop. Sad news though, thoughts go to all that knew him.
