there nice, strong, the 07's are better than this years, theres no point buying dj1's difference isn't noticable, to be honest dj3's (07's) are your best bet. i forgot about society, but have only heard good things, i've never tried them myself so if you wanna go for it.

you've got alot of options here. can go all out strength with the marzochhi dj range, or go for thier new 4x specific fork longer travel lighter dirt jumper basically, or theres the manitou stance which you had. Rock shox have, the argyle range, the domain range. fox have a few good ones like the talas and vanila range. id personally try the new marzochi 4x forks.

yer there loud, but to be honest there also pretty bad, on my mavic d521 ceramic rim i got asked to stop riding by my neighbours because of how loud they where :$ but try get something better, koxx browns or something like that.

They just aren't theres something about the bigger pads that makes them worse, it makes no sense i know, but you just cant get a bb7 as sharp as a bb5 in my opinion.

Ha ha my rims are, a halo torando front and a halo sas back, the full wheels cost about £200 for the pair, rims about £30-£40.
