  1. Joe, please please please go onto ebay and buy some taste PLEASE?! I'm sure there were plenty of posts when you were asking about colours which said something along the lines of 'white, green, blue, black, polished, orange... anything but gold'. Way to listen to the market As has already been said, nice frame, shame about the god damn colour... (and the gold spokes )
  2. Yes. For those with a soul... There is a free way of buying 5 seperate versions of the song through Nokia music . Follow the instructions here (doesn't ask for any card details and takes 5 minutes to download the software and register so you can 'purchase' the tracks. DO IT!! DO IT NOOOOOOW!!
  3. Hope that makes sense. Where the chainstays attach it might be worth tweaking it to actually meet the full section of the tubing as at the moment you'll end up with massive stress raisers at the ends of the 'C' section. There are also bits of the yoke edges which don't include a radius. It would tidy it up nicely if they all matched to create a nice, smooth flowing piece. Where the chainstay parts of the yoke meet the BB shell itself I'm still not sure it'll be possible to produce it. If you could smooth the outside edges of the yoke to meet the BB cup ends it would make for an easier to manufacture piece although you may have to rework the lightening slots a bit as well. The final point is probably just an oddity of the display but there seesm to be something a bit odd going on in the slot which passes through the BB shell. It does look proper pimp in full render though! Very impressive .
  4. Very true. I was quite surprised to be honest- 165 tyres, not much in the way of ground clearance and not much weight over the driven wheels but it was great. I guess because they're so light weight they just don't bury themselves like heavy modern cars so don't get stuck. Either way good fun!
  5. You could've taken the reflectors off the bike for the pics MARK! I'm surprised it doesn't come with a bell fitted too .
  6. My guess is that that's aimed at the odd rich alternative person buying 1,000 MP3's at once kinda thing rather than someone buying it several times. However, I'd still keep it to one purchase at a time from any retailer rather than sticking 10 in your Amazon basket.
  7. Trials UK suck the proverbial arse and shoud('ve) be(en) avoided at all costs.
  8. "This exciting bike is neither a BMX nor an MTB; more a 'BMXTX'". That's good to know. Think I'll wait for the proper pics from Tarty before making comment because those Cyclelife ones don't do the Effect much Justice...
  9. I'd still have questions about the BB yoke but it depends how far you need to take it and how clued up the assessor is. Are you actually planning getting the frame manufactured and built?
  10. Poofter, eh? I remember driving 15miles through deep snow and ice in to work a few years back in my '71 minivan going past losers who'd stopped and got stuck. Got to work and found out that a guy who lived about half a mile from me didn't make it in with his 4x4 Mondeo... Fail!
  11. So if you left at 12:00:00 and arrived at 12:11:59 that makes it 23.5mph average which is a bit more feasible...
  12. Because it's being sold by Select Bikes with a buy it now, it's a little different than some random guy selling something through an auction. Would be down to Adam as to whether he would honour the price match.
  13. He could if it was downhill... You seem to be forgetting Glen's one sick ass wigga with fixd skilllz brah.
  14. Scott Mills was being a right fanny about it yesterday afternoon getting all shitty about RATM and what people are trying to do. If I hadn't been driving I would've sent him a rather abusive text/email/message written in blood on page 666 of a bible.
  15. I retract my former statement... (Not the Venhill bit) .
  16. Harsh! I did think he was looking rather old though...
  17. Venhill are the importers. Might be worth a ring to Tarty though as they deal in Magura and tend to be a rather helpful bunch .
  18. If money's no object (which from your list it doesn't seem to be!), and purely for the Yin and Yang, I'd go for the Koxx Black Sky... There's something nicely symmetric about the thought of having a White Sky and a Black Sky in the garage to choose from! With regards your English- don't worry, your post is better than half of the kids on here!
