why just use vee's on a dx32 anyway, echo rims suck! they flatspot and bend. only good point is they dont dent till you've done about 15 grinds dx32's though, hold grinds amazing, are stronger than echo's and they are lighter. and a king would be best i've seen a lot of pro2's break... yet to see a chris king die

im using pure forks ( i think, might be controls) with a front avid ultimate with plaz crv's on smooth rim (completely on/off) and they are fine, not really noticably flexy

1 degree on the headangle makes a lot of difference.... the adamant will probably have a longer reach that your pure. the 08 pure (short) has 1080 wheelbase and a 70.5 head angle http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=14 it has a shorter reach than a short pitbull with 1060 wheelbase and 72 head angle http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=14

but the headangle on pures is like 71 degrees? which makes the reach a lot shorter an ashton (1055 wheelbase with 73 headangle) is similar reach to a long echo control (1080wheelbase with 72 head angle) steeper head angle makes the bike feel longer.. long adamants are literally barges on wheels

get a long metal stick and hammer and smack the other star nut down and out of the bottom of the steerer can use a headlock then or go to a local bike shop and see if they got any star nuts for 1 inch steerer's then file it down a bit if its too big
