Got TNN booster and clamp kit tried to fit it to the bike with the booster between the clamps, but found that i couldt get the claps tight enough to keep the cylinder still ie the clamps were flush but the cylinder still moved tried fitting magura cylinder rings and that was too big massive distance between the clamps so then ran booster at bottom and clamps above as shown in picture below this let me tighten bolts up to keep cylinder still and booster seems to be sat still also is this an ok setup to run because before i tighten everything up completely and then ride it i want to be sure the last thing i want to do is rip my frame threads out or other such damage to both frame and clamps and booster if it isnt the right setup how do i get round the moving cylinders when i run the booster between the clamps many thanks thomas

thanks mate wasnt sure with it being a monty ste because sometimes their parts are slightly different fitments etc to other parts thanks

the plan was just to use the bottom section and the pole section of the following Linky then to drill the top cap to fit the pole because it is slightly bigger thread so i was utilising the oval topcap just with what i thought would be a slight modifiction turns out didnt work and topcap is now unusable because hole is too big and washer wont solve the problem of a smaller bolt because it will then sit proud of the topcap so any tightening causes the topcap to lift lesson learned the whole point of the thread was to find out if any of the topcaps on the tarty site would fit so which one do you think will fit and i order that one thanks

No it was one of the gusset ones with the pole that runs all the way down Fantastic for normal setups but as we can all see made a mess of the monty slopes system Need a sloped topcap asap will the kamel one on tarty site work? Out of stock at the moment thonso lookin if therenis a second hand one on here

to cut a long story short tried to fit a head doctor to a monty sloping stem DIDNT WORK AT ALL drilled my monty top cap in the process need a replacement, monty one currently out of stock at the moment any others that would be suitable images of both stem and origional top cap attached thanks tom
