You don't need to take right off the edge mate. I can get like 8 ft 9/10 flat and i sorta take off from the edge, I leave myself around 5 inches or so to roll a little bit. But as Mr onzaboymarcus the third said, practice makes perfection, keep changing and tweaking up technique till you find the right one. Just a little tip though, the preload is the most important part about gapping, I really pull the bike to my chest and jump up high on my preloads, i try and fold my rim when i preload, thats how i get the most power. Another tip, make sure your tyres at a good pressure, when preloadding, you dont wanna be rimming out, cause all the spring and power will disappear. Hope this helps abit buddy, owt else, just ask

Well, in theory then, if ALL pads work with tar and a smooth rim and not all pads work with a grind, so statistically speaking, smooth and tar wins in terms of compatability

Really ? I prefer gaming in normal deffinition, Its wierd, i just CAN NOT play COD in HD. Go round mates houses, they've got 50" plasma things, they whack cod on and i play as i normally would and i just can't do it, it doesn't look or feel right. 1030 for a mod really isn't that long, the 05' Python and zona at standard were 1045. Python had 375 stays and the zona had 372 stays, +55BB on both like. i can remember my 05 python measuring in at like 1075 axle to axle. Looks good though Hannah, will be nicer once you get it duel disc or dual maggy like. The frame shape reminds me of a megamo disc frame one of the lads had around here years back, if it was white it'd look almost identical i reckon. Good work though.

Try-all rims, not this new fancy lark, the old style ones, don't hold grinds, nor could i EVER get any pads to work on a grind on a try-all rim, just generally a weak rim. 05 and upwards magura's, shit to bleed, lever crack, generally just die. 04' ***. Zoo/echo/adamant/gu/czar headsets, they just died, and creak like a bitch. Try-all tyres, just awful. No bounce, wear down fast, punny galore.
