  1. hm, new sky3 is +65? It´s not the highest bb frame, but still mega high. Old fashioned geo is like +25 lol.
  2. How does the geo sound different? There is plenty of high BB comp frames with simmilar or the same WB. I want to move to the UK
  3. That´s what I was trying to say, it´s more about who is selling them than what they are, most bike shops doesn´t have a clue what trials is lol.
  4. Lockring is positioned against spokes and also it´s spinning the other way round, you it´s tightening up if anything(except tensiles and maybe acs???),Yes hearing would be problem for mod, not so much for stock, I found 21:18 the best ratio for me, right between 18:15 and 18:16. This whole weight distribution argument is nonsense, today´s bikes are soooo rear and heavy anyways with carbon bars, forks, light and narrow rims/tires. So it´s durability, better engagement and choice of much stiffer cranks than isis vs weight distribution and harder to get gear ratio. To me this change was soooo worth it and I won´t ever go back if I don´t have to.
  5. This might be right but...I think almost everyone here bought his bike/frame from trial shop, mostly because these shops usually know what they are selling, also because I wouldn´t even bother asking in regular bike shop. Not sure if someone who doesn´t even know what trials is would buy seatless bike from his lbs either. So it might be benefical for those who are trials riders already, but if they aren´t cheaper/much better designed or ideally both I would still prefer "classic" trials brand of a frame at least, it´s kinda cool when people ask you about koxx, zoo or echo because they never heard of those manufacturers if you know what I mean.
  6. They aren´t riding specific but I would bet my pocket money that they outlast any trial specific shoe on the market lol.
  7. No you don´t have to as there´s this lip on the bashguard which works like a spacer.
  8. They would have to bring something different to the table to be successful, just a bit different geo is not enough.
  9. Ooooor, bfw? I know it requires weird gear ratio, but it gives you even more ep´s and freewheel lasts longer when mounted on the hub too. To me it´s win win situation.
  10. From vids I saw I would say barrow farm is better place to ride, more variety of obstacles...If I could choose, I would go to radfest.DC was nice, but 90% riding there was about natural which is fine if it´s not raining. The problem is, there always is atleast in the evening. Funny event nonetheless.
  11. If it will have seat, it´s going to be one epic fail of a bike lol.
  12. BB5 are just as strong if not stronger than BB7 and feel stiffer because they have one piece body.
  13. Great, now look at everyone else at that level...Almost everyone DOES workout and they are going bigger every year. Working out does help your riding if you don´t focus too much on one of those activities.
  14. With that rear wheel it most likely is...
  15. Why?And you can´t buy brand new as Mark W suggested in other topic.
