  1. Agreed,48 is fine for street riding, but for natural or even TGS it´s just not going to cut it, if you are already used to 108fw it really is big problem, if feels like ages till you get the power. Another thing is, it´s VERY heavy, I use SL freewheel on the hub, together it weights good 80g less than pro2 and that´s without sprocket and ss kit. Screw weight distribution, I don´t really care about that as bikes are rear heavy anyway so 100-200g doesn´t make too much of a difference, but over 500g for a full hub??? And finally, everyone seems to forget that rear hub is under lot less force so it´s not that hard for it to be long lasting, especially at this weight...
  2. We have never seen anything else from him, that might be the reason.
  3. If you wipe off any dust every 10mins, yes. If you don´t, your´re better of with small dab of tar, just enough to increase bite and hold but not enough to make brake pads stick to the rim.
  4. I like it, the colour is pretty cool, just the pedals aren´t that nice, but if you like them...
  5. Doesn´t mean other setups mentioned here don´t work just as good or even better, does it? I´m not saying it doesn´t work ok, but using your words, I know for a fact that rockmans work better...Also vees are totally different story, if they work "only as good as front maggie", you´re doing something wrong, good vee setup puts any maggie to shame, period.
  6. I like your confidence, are you the best rider here?Or the most experienced? Sound like it...
  7. This is only true if you keep your rim dust free, which is pretty close to impossible. So tar is the only option really. But yeah, rockman blues were excelent on smooth, no slipping whatsoever...
  8. I don´t believe it for a minute.
  9. Vees are the ultimate rim brakes
  10. He was using normal echo stem(135x15 I think) and normal adamant bars...Nothing simmilar to this. http://i72.servimg.com/u/f72/12/12/14/19/ntb10.jpg
  11. Any linear slick cable basically...And some good quality teflon coated inner too.
  12. I would say you have good first hand experience But on a serious note, they aren´t too bad for that price, so you just can´t expect koxx quality for neon price. Still best price/quality ratio has to go to echo though, so maybe save a little more money and buy that instead?
  13. Stop giving utter shitty advices that might result in someone´s nasty injury?
  14. Quality is about the same as because since it´s sister company.
