  1. Biiiig like,i wanted to do something like this with some gym clips too for quite some time, but then I realized I would get some bitchin´ from lanky boys here so I didn´t. Looking forward to more vids
  2. Just like he could get any tire he wants right? But he choose to use Kaiser with trimmed sideknobs...And that means something. It´s incredible stability and grip of DK that makes it so good, not the sideknobs. Only downside is weight and cutting sideknobs compensates this, for me it´s a win win situation. I know it´s hard to "destroy" brand new expensive tire...But it´s well worth it.
  3. hm, I wouldn´t say so, but who am I right? But this might help look at Carthy´s tire And also notice conditions he´s riding in.
  4. It´s surprisingly easy decision...Either a best tire out there or some shitty smaller one that is nowhere close to der kaiser. It´s not like you need sideknobs anyway, if anything it makes the tire almost 100g lighter.
  5. Just clean the rotor and ride, it takes only few minutes to bed such a soft pads in.
  6. It´s only +50mm frame, so that stem looks suitable, especially if he is under 6ft. Edit, I´m too slow obviously.
  7. Even for twice that, they are cheap only because they wear down quickly (they are softer than resin shimano pads), but that´s not a concern in trials as long as you don´t ride DH in muddy conditions on trials bike too
  8. Also make sure there´s no oil on the pistons aswell, sanding pads + clean pistons made day/night difference. I would buy better pads too if you have stock pads, they aren´t very good, cheap fastop(or clarks) organic pads are miles better.
  9. Tartybikes has all informations you need to know...
  10. It´s too hard to say based on those pics you posted in bike pics thread, but those dropouts and headtube look like mine and mine is deffo 2006 Edit after another look top tube and down tube are further away, so I was most likely wrong.
  11. Your zoo is 2006 not 2005 and it´s +55mm
  12. I know man I was talking about tr rim brake vs tr disc brake
  13. It´s that tgs proto they never released,so pics are prolly 2years old
  14. Hm, I tried and I couldn´t, you might be vibrating more Ali
  15. I will put it like this, pad wobble is the cause of the noise, but frame is what amplifies it. That´s how I see it.
  16. Those vibrations are transfered into the frame, if you use booster, this transfer is limited, so noise is reduced. I guess lol.
