oh my god you have another problem?it works almost always,in some cases you don have to buy a new one,just flip the one you have(because it´s worn form the one side and not the other),if this doesn´t work,new sprocket time.
Might have something to do with the coefficient of friction I guess? But I leave this question for someone more at home at physics.Even though I´m sure they are tired from saying the same thing over and over again...
screw driver would be good enough to find out if it´s loose,to wobble like that it would have to be very very loose.If it isn´t,the problem is elsewhere.
Shimano style BB cups doesn´t have anything else on the outer side of the left cup(unlike right cup which have this "lip" you can grab insted the actual thread).Another option is to use flat screwdriver and hammer to tighten it,it´s not perfect solution but it will be good enough fo show you if the wobble is caused by BB being loose or not.
