  1. I said no worries but sorry you took it that way. Of course if I post here I wait for others' opinion but as I said, you can't really judge the building quality of a frame from pictures right? Except if you have already tested one which I am sure you haven't because you wouldn't say such things. Except maybe for the first edition which I have never seen or tested though.
  2. Why? Do these break? I have a heavy friend who has them, I don't want him to stab his legs.
  3. I am still not a fan. But I respect you for being so creative
  4. Good video but bad message for the kids: Yeah that's it don't put your helmet, it's cooler that way...
  5. Must be quite awesome to ride with you guys!
  6. Yes as JMCD said they are 160 mm ones... (latest revised model) I don't understand how you can say that from photos but ok... Actually, I have just looked on the frame and I stil don't get what you mean by cheap and nasty? Chinese frames are effectively cheaper as there are no added transport costs and other study desk costs. Indeed, they are made in exactly the same factory than the SKY frames in Vietnam! I never understood why people say Sky frames are weak, I have a friend who owns one and has been riding it savagely for 2 years and it is still going strong. I have had my stock one for one year and still going strong too. Another friend has a mod one and has dented it quite a lot, that things still rides with no creaks or anything... Sky cost a lot but they are quite the ultimates frames going... Aren't you the one who started an inappropiate argument other a frame that is as good quality as a Sky and saying it looks cheap? No worries though, as you say, you may think what you want. But at least please inform yourself first rather than judging the quality of the frame from a photo. Yes exactly!
  7. Very often through this video I asked myself how you got up the obstacles you were drop gapping from. Nice!
  8. These tires are so perfect. Very light, bouncy as hell, very grippy, very stable. Perfect tire in my opinion. I have also never got a flat with these in 6 months. You can get it directly from Breath or from one of their retailer. I got mine from Sheldon Walker. I had exactly the same thinking when Sheldon sent me some pictures of the full build. I however got seduced by the geometry and seeing that it was a very good frame with no problems on it. Once you have it in front of yourself, it deffinetly looks different though. I find it very very nice. I invite you to ask directly to Breath through their website or to ask Sheldon Walker who you can find on OTN.
  9. This bike was quite an adventure. I ordered the frame, forks and cranks from Sheldon Walker (included were the headset and bashplate even though I didn't use that last one). You can find him in the Vendor section on Observed Trials and he is a great seller. The package got blocked by the custom in France. It lasted a week of sending the same e-mail every day because it seemed I wasn't talking to the same person each time. In the end I got someone who was comprehensive. It was supposed to be delivered on Monday but it showed up this morning!!! I got the stem from Dave Kerr who I thank a lot for it. Great guy: fast transaction and great communication. All the titanium bolts are from Ellen Titanium bolts that I got through Amas Wong. The old 2005 brand new HS33 levers are from Trialprod which stocked some a while ago. So far I have only ridden it in front of my building to see if everything was good build-wise so I can't really tell. The longer chainstay length certainly is a change and does feel weird. I have to get used to it to really tell. Here are the specs: Frame and Fork - Frame: Breath YES 20 2013 HS33 without bashplate and with faced 4-bolt mounts - Fork: Breath 2013 HS33 with faced 4-bolt mounts Wheels - Front hub: Bonz Expert Non Disc with titanium bolts - Rear hub: Rockman Splined 116mm 2012 Non Disc with titanium bolts - Chain Tensioner: Echo TR Snail Cams - Front rim: Monty Pro Race 20" - Rear rim : Rockman Single Wall 19" - Spokes : Mutiny and Aluminium spoke nipples - Rim tape : Custom - Inner tubes: Kenda - Tires: Monty Pro Race Eagle Claw Brakes - System: post 2005 Magura HS33 with 4-fingers levers, water bled, titanium bar clamp bolt and titanium lever clamp bolt - Brake clamps: Try-All CNC brake clamps with titanium bolts Drivetrain - Cranks: Breath 2013 CNC Light 160 mm - Freewheel: ECHO SL 108 - Chain: KMC Z610 HX - Rear Sprocket: Rockman Splined 12 teeth - Pedals: Echo SL with titanium axles - Bottom Bracket: Trialtech Sport Lite ISIS with titanium bolts - Bashring: Trialtech SL titanium Halfring - Chainstay protector: Try-All 2012 Steering: - Headset: Breath integrated 2013 - Stem: Try-All K2 150 mm x 30° Forged - Grips: FrenchID Foam - Handlebars: Try-All Karbon Riser cut at 670 mm Geometry (Verified) - Wheelbase: 1010 mm - Chainstay length: 360mm - BB Rise: +90 - Head angle: 71,5° - Weight: 7,68 kilos! 10. Don't know, I don't have the adequate tools and I prefer buying something else than the new echo cranks as light as they are... Really, I find it perfect and never realized I had pulled the lever too hard or felt any flex at all!
  11. It's Yann's Dunant projet for graphism school, nothing more...
  12. I am sorry, I am really not a fan of all this brakeless stuff but what amazes me is that you do pretty much anything you want from your bike. I guess you would ride amazingly well with brakes too!
  13. Ok great, I'll take a careful look and see if that can be the cause. How did you manage to see the scratch?
  14. God Bernart Seuba qualified in front of Dani Comas in Elite...

    1. 315r

      315r

I was there, Bernat was incredibly, looked soft and sure. Where do you check the results?

  15. I have it is now completely clean, there is absolutely no metal bits or anything left in the body
  16. Hi, I recently bought a pair of brand new '05 lever. I received them, unpaked them, filed the part to prevent it from cracking it, completely and carefully cleaned it after that operation, bled it in the sink with a syringe and making the lever clap two or three times. I then put them on the bike and after 5 rides with them, it started to become weird, I had to turn the TPA very often, so after further observation, there was some water on the piston. It was then clear that I had a leak at the piston for sure! I then completely unbuilt the lever, cleaned everything, put some grease around the piston and rebled it. But then, it started again. My question is: what makes this happen and what can I do to repair it? Thank you very much.
  17. Absolutely no problem while rawing it and no problem concerning brake alignment. Yes the frame rides really well. I can get it lighter with another Bottom Bracket and some lighter cranks.
  18. I don't really know. I have been buying the bike at first but updated loads of parts to get to this result.
