  1. I have found a few but unfortunately not the ones I am looking for...
  2. You mean the trials bike with 24 engagement points on the freewheel?
  3. @Mark W, could it be that you have old videos from Tarty you could upload somewhere? I miss them all!
  4. Thanks a lot @Muel. I was kind of giving up now.
  5. May I ask what these components are and where you found them? Seems weird they actually manufacture a combo that doesn't fill their requirements... Most trials stems have a wide clamping area. The WAW Ultimate stem has been specifically developed to make that area wider to compensate for the higher bars and torque but I don't know exactly how wide it is.
  6. I used to watch Tartybikes Vimeo account for videos and now all the videos they had made in the past are gone except for a few you can't even watch properly. For example Jack Carthy's video on the Cleep 2 doesn't play normally after a few seconds... Also no more Stan Shaw vids, group rides vids. I really miss them all, would maybe @AdamR28 still have them or someone else? Thanks
  7. Oh ok I get it now. Thanks a lot but what does fashion means then?
  8. I can't believe I did not read that earlier. Thanks @Duncy Hfor this incredible document. Thanks so much to Adam. So many people helped through the years with trials it's crazy. I learned so much things from you and the most important thing is how to keep being curious and imaginative.
  9. Yeah I don't know if this was the right word for trials but however...
  10. I have done it on a Shimano crankset with a 24 mm axle. It was for a dirt bike and it worked perfectly. I changed it for something more use-intended afterwards.
  11. Ok, do you think it can be made better?
  12. Rode it 5 times since I built it now. I feel a lot better now but I still lack so much control over it. I kind of found my personal heights back. Like pedal up around 1 m 30 sidehop 1 m but it's all about the feels I don't have on some moves or obstacles. I guess that's down to the fact I rode 20" for so long and using that long stem. I might change it sometimes for something shorter.
  13. That's what happens these days...
  14. That was kind on the idea I had. I wanted a V brake boss with an M5 bolt under it. But I forgot you need the holes for the spring to go into them. That could work I guess. Oh agreed they are clearly one of the best options out there. I guess it's shipping that makes them expensive to me. I sure hope Steve is back one day, he was a top guy.
  15. I couldn't agree more with you. Everytime I read or hear the level of some is impressive I am horrified by the lack of what I would call style in their riding. It's just that generation who wants to go too fast and learn how to go high before having any control over their bike. For example when you watch young Spanish riders ride, you have to admit what they go up to is unbelievably high, but they way they do is really not nice to watch. Dani Baron comes to mind and I am sorry to say this as of course he is an incredible rider. Plus they all look the same when riding their bikes now. There was some days you could watch a replay of comps on YouTube and recognize riders' riding even with 140P quality video. Nowadays, they absolutely look all the same because they all want to imitate what the top riders do but way too fast...
  16. What do you mean by sport level?
  17. Fashion is one's of trials' most underrated negatives. I won't even talk about wearing tiny shorts over lycra, but if definitely doesn't help for setups too. HS33 are not the best brakes for the backwards motion still every company only builds frames with HS33 as an option...
  18. They are kind of expensive though, aren't they?
  19. The thing I find the most disturbing coming from my dirt bike, my trail bike or my FR bike is the stem length! Feels like you're driving a bus on a trials bike haha
  20. A Romanian trials rider did. Check his channel as he has amazing other content!
  21. Dropping the front helps for front wheel moves but won't help for getting that rear wheel up. All you can do really is train a lot, spend hours on a bike when you do, try to ride everyday and push harder every time you do, and live a healthy life. You can even try hitting the gym but I would not recommend it as it doesn't really help with bike control... The body learns and recovers way slower at 30+ than before. You have to keep that in mind and you really have to stay motivated if you want to progress at that age. For that there is nothing to do really except enjoying what you do and how you do it. Endorphins help with that but they come with pain so go ride hard!
  22. I swear I had a look for some and I couldn't find any!
