Tanked every 6months? Never heard that before. My parents built the house we are living in when I was born and the tanks never been emptied. If a septic tank is working right it should never need emptied.

Only if you live in a city. Up here its mostly private septic tanks for each house. Wipes and things of the like causes havoc.
