Yeah I had 6 beers and three double-strength ibuprofen for lunch that day pictured to stave off the twinges, and because my ankle had bent inward (so that the sole of my foot was up next to my ankle bone and facing my face) I stopped sidehopping for a few weeks so as to avoid putting the same sideways pressure on it. The only ankle support I was using was a compression bandage like in the photo too. It wasn't actual ankle support, more a placebo, peace-of-mind type thing.

I wish I'd known the severity of ligament damage when I did mine I ruptured the ligaments in my ankle five days before Tarty Days and still rode (proof) on it. It wasn't diagnosed for a week or so after Tarty Days and wasn't fully healed for a couple more months. I've only just stopped riding with ankle support, too. I feel properly sick every time I think about it as I can still vividly feel it giving way

Remember that Troyston guy who admitted he'd shot and killed a sheep. He's one of many many trials riders. Would it be fair or accurate for, say, a farmer to assume that, based on the actions of a very tiny minority of a select group, all trials riders are likely to kill his sheep?

I imagine… …the technology needed to create anything like that would never get enough funding for trials. No one would spend that much money on projecting trials riders onto objects that require 3D inspection (projecting stuff onto a flat surface is simple, but in trials you'd obviously need awareness of depth to place a rider on top of a wall as opposed to onto the side of it). It's essentially a hologram. Also, I'm not aware of any phones with inbuilt projectors…

Pretty much any thread where the OP asks for opinions on, say, three different freewheels. The thread then becomes awash with people who: 1) have used one of the freewheels, haven't used either of the other two, yet insists that they're shit and the one they use is better. 2) haven't used any of the above and throw a fourth option into the mix. 3) rubbish one of the options because their mate's mate's mate's mate's cousin once broke one this one time once. You can never pretty much never get proper impartial advice on any part on here unless you speak to a Tarty guy or someone who's actually got a sound knowledge of all the options (of which there are very few people who actually do).
