  1. i'm going on holiday tomorrow so i want to try and fix these headphones for the journey so no time to buy new ones. I've got some decent headphones i broke a while ago while riding, i managed to snap the jack off so they no longer work. I've now cut the jack off and stripped the wire down a little. We have a copper, blue and green coloured wires, if i managed to get another jack and soldered the wires together would the headphones work or must the wires not be touching eachother?
  2. Where? I didn't find these.. i didn't shower the whole time i was there.
  3. New nut should do the job x
  4. It's not a case of your gear ratio it's the effect of the bb rise. Higher bb means you simpley can't get power down. This is why the new koxx sky has a lower bb. Because riders have started using the 'Carthy bar angle' it has the effect of raising the bb meaning you can't get as much power. I think you guys get what I'm getting at though.
  5. It looks plastic, thus shit. The general design is nice though, not sure if i would run one or not though.

  7. I violently masturbated over this.
  8. Thanks Ali, thats pretty helpful. Maybe a few bunny hops here and there but not trials as such.
  9. Thankyou haha! Yes I do tend to break quite hard.... This 'man' is my colleague at work. - halfords which might explain why haha
  10. Thats exactly what i thought, i mean if you cant use a 200mm rotor on there because they'll snap surly they're not safe to use full stop?
  11. I'm building up this commuter/mountain bike typed thing out of old bits and pieces from work and everyone knows i love my breaking power, so i wanted to slap a 200mm rotor up front and a 180mm on the rear. However the guy who was building the bike for me said that a 200mm rotor would be over kill(which is probally right, but then again this is me.) and that it would snap the fork. Now i didn't really say alot but i'm fairly convinced it would NOT snap the fork. Any thoughts? Picture attached, the bike isn't fully built yet. Carrera 120mm sus' fork with post mount the brake will be an avid elixir calliper on a quad lever so not overally powerful on a 203mm formula rotor.
  12. Thats a good looking bike there mate!! x
  13. i'd go with the opposite of what bing said, they look really slim and without a doubt they're lighter they're the old XT/XTR levers put on the saint caliper. The m810 is more solid though. I know the new ones have more power due to a master lever piston.
  14. tried the download links but they dont work says they've expired..
  15. In all fairness i have never tried one of the mt2's (i dont think) but i really cant fault a saint, on my 24 i'm running one of a 200mm rotor and cant fault it, changed the pads recently to better ones and its almost too powerful believe it or not.. Also ran it on the rear of a mod (leaking, contaminated) on a 160mm rotor and still couldn't fault it performance wise, the leak wasn't awesome though haha. If money is a problem go for the mt2 as they seem great for the price haven't heard a bad thing about them, but if it isn't then without a doubt, get the saint.
  16. Any links or anything? Couldn't find any accounts from the searches i did..
  17. I found some old music on my computer that isn't working properly and i want to re-download it. I thought it was from mad-man-mike (on here) and the scientist on sound cloud but then i found its from 'random cat' i've had a google, a youtube and a soundcloud search, anyone know anything about this give me a hand or anything?? random cat - january mix - 51:42 long random cat - dubstep 2010 - 41:01 long random cat - september mix - 34:06 long
  18. The starting music sounded like a cheesey porno..
  19. This is probably the right place to ask ( i also could be getting confused and being a total knob? -as per usual) if you swap your bars round so you have not backsweep but froward sweep would that hurt less?
  20. Thats reaally nice!! I disagree though, glad its front disc.
