  1. Hes got a fairly weird gap technique so smooth though.
  2. You say you were easier to pedal hop easier on your mod 6 years ago, i was able to beast out some fairly large kicks (IMO) on my mod but since moving to 24 i simply cant get the power down to do them. I've just had to take them out of my riding, might be something to do with the bike?
  3. Well the forces are backwards in trials mostly so what you've done may help? If you do a pedal up for example you're more likely to grip instead of slip down perhaps?
  4. I agree with jake would be lush if it bad black forks other than that tasty!!!
  5. Rode with ben all last weekend and he is a POWERHOUSE, pleasure to be around too. Loving the video.
  6. climbing seems to be pretty popular.. might have to try that out. I used to do martial arts a few years ago didn't really enjoy it.. not really my thing. thanks for the replies everyone.

Right i've been thinking how boring my life is reacently, i work ride, sleep, work ride sleep, etc.. and i want to do more with my life, meet new people and whatnot but i'm not really sure where to start. I'm thinking about local clubs sports and whatnot. What other sports or clubs and stuff do you guys all do?

  15. So its my 18th Birthday on Wednesday so me and four mates were going out clubbing on Tuesday at midnight as soon as i'm 18, was buzzing my tits off for it... Then three of my four "mates" cancelled on me. Left with this one lad i haven't seen since highschool. I asked If anyone was up for friday but no, one has to see his girlfriend one has to see his girlfriend, one has a party and one has some apprenticship shit to do. f**king happy 18th me! Safe to say gutted is an understatement.
  16. I dont think you're able to due to the fact its under the laqure(spelling??) You could maybe spray something over the top but i wouldn't risk what you're suggesting.

  20. My beast, built from old bits and pieces lying around halfords (where i work) then with upgraded wheels. Carrera subway frame Mavic disc wheels Carrera kraken forks i think Zoom seat post Carrera something or other ladies seat Try-all rage 08' bars Shimano saint front disc brake 180mm rotor Formula RX rear disc brake 160mm rotor Its a single speed looking to put gears on it though. The bike cost £40 then upgraded the wheels for £100 so cost me all of £140 so far. Front brake is from my trials bike which is out of use atm.
  21. Trialsaddict.com EDIT: Its not based in ireland but they'll deliver there
  22. thought it was well long!! that'll ride errrm.. interestingly.
  23. Found the videos. I remember watching these as a noobie still find them helpful, hopfully you will too. And some newer thinkbike ones
  24. Wheelies, endos and whatnot are good to get the feel of the bike, try learning to trackstand next then after that rear wheel hopping (i'm assuming you can already bunny hop from what you've written.) To do that put your wheel on something high and keep it there and just hop around (i'll try and get a video) The turning in 90degrees is good, and its normal to only be able to do it in one direction (same with your sidehops) learn to do it 180 degrees by pulling your front brake and turning your handle bars and repeting the 90 degrees, it'll soon come together. (i'll try and find a video for this too) Trashzen is a good place keep looking on there for things you want to learn, also keep updated with the forum videos section it can be great to watch other's technique and for getting motovated to go out and ride.
