  1. Well, you ride 24", not a normal bike, so there's no relevance. Again, experiment with the pressure until you're satisfied.. There's no other way to do it really.. What might work for someone, might not be the ideal for you.. /Jan Tore
  2. Looks much better with a full seat in my opinion..
  3. I guess the bike rides nice, but when it comes to the looks, I agree with Mark..
  4. I'm soo looking forward to see the Control 10. Hoping for a geo like the 09 one, maybe even longer?
  5. True story. Although it's nice to visit places one haven't seen before.
  6. Not really expensive compared to the time it'll take to manufacture a piece like that.
  7. Been running SL for about 4-5 months now, and no problems at all with it. Also makes a lovely sound
  8. Jan Tore

    Echo

    Tarty's got them.
  9. Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciate it
  10. Gave it a go on the weight today, and it's at 9,5. A Schwalbe tyre and it would go below 9, but I like the rain king..
  11. I found it easier to go lowpressure in the beginning.. Easier to balance the bike. I'm running about 20psi rear and 25 front now though. I'd go with Continental tyres, I love them.
  12. Looks very nice. What's the weight on it? Really like the look of those Fans frames.
  13. It's an Echo SL fork. I just gave my rear rim a fresh harsh grind. Also cut down the steerer tube to let go of the spacers under the stem. I'll give it a go on the weight tomorrow. I'm hoping for less than 9,5kgs. And what's with Royal Mail really? Hope disc still hasn't arrived :/
  14. Everything but the BB, rear tyre, forks and rear hub. Rims, spokes and nipples were bought 4 weeks before the rest of the bike. Total cost would be around £1700 I think. Edit: How do I change the lever blade on the sl rim brake?
  15. Thanks Also waiting for my Try-All hope disc to arrive from Hope.
  16. Aye.. Only thing needed now is a little adjustment on the rear wheel, and rear brake adjustment. Also think the fork needs a cut.. Looks a bit high those bars. Outdoors pictures will be taken tomorrow
  17. Alright. Parts arrived my room, and I'm building at the moment. Complete bike will be shown in a little while. Control long 09, SL 108.9, Echo SL with CNC blade and TR clamps.
  18. Pads are so cheap anyway, why waste money on something that only MIGHT be decent?
  19. Hi. Same shit here in Norway.. I'm fine though, got a place under the roof on this school.. So I'm so hyped to ride when I get my new bike built up Thuesday/Wednesday. No rideable place under roof or something around?
  20. Ait, I've been doing movie editing for quite a while, so I'll give you a few headers. Less is often more. Don't go in with loads of huge text, blinking images and fancy transitions if you can't make them fit the movie perfectly. That would just make it look silly. The same goes for colours and contrast and brightness settings as well. Don't go nuts. Now, for the first movies. Take your time, find out what you like, both from watching other movies, and experimenting yourself. Especially the last one there, will after some time, give you the experience needed to pull off some fancy, good looking effects. Basic progress would be: Pick a song, or a songline for the movie. And edit your clips and scenes taking the music into consideration. A good effect doesn't complete with the visual part. It needs the audio to be good. For editing programs, I personally use Sony Vegas, together with Adobe After Effects and 3ds max. But you will be fine with only Vegas in the start. Get to know the different tools, and you will find it much easier to make a good movie when you get some off. And that being said, a good movie doesn't finish off in two hours. Good movies take weeks and months to finish. But of course, generally, for a trials movie, just normal scene cutting is more than enough. In the end, we're interested in the riding, right? /Jan Tore
