  1. Hi, few pictures of some new arrived parts for my new Echo Control Long `09. Got a package at the post office containing: Echo SL rear brake, Echo Control frame, Echo TR brake clamps and a SL 108.9 freewheel. Try-All 3d stem and Try-All carbon riser bars ChrisKing NoThreadSet TNN LGMs Trialtech Foams Echo SL cranks with Trialtech magnesium pedals The bike will be finished wednesday next week, when I get my salary.. Pretty excited about this one Thanks to TartyBikes for great service once again!
  2. That's one sweet bike.
  3. Wow, that's pretty awesome.. How old is the kid?
  4. I don't know really. Ride stock myself, so I can't help you there. Guess it could work though, I mean, it's small and easy to throw around. Edit: If you really want to ride street, just save up money for a decent Inspired or something, they're not that expensive.
  5. I actually enjoyed watching it.. It was just different from all the tgs stuff I see on here.. Props! : )
  6. Pretty much depends on what kind of riding you will be doing. The 20" is a much more flicky and easy bike to ride, and is designed for riding TGS, Natural and such. The 24" would be better for street riding(Guess you've seen Danny MacAskill and such kind of riding). Now, there are no rules that say you can't ride Natural or Tgs with a 24", but it's certainly not the best bike to do it with.

If someone deserves a break, it's the guys over at TartyBikes. The service the yield us riders, I find to be very amazing. and, Happy New Year from Norway folks.. Let's hope for a year with a lot of very good riding and no injuries..!
  8. Upgrading notebooks is just stupidly expensive and so not worth it. Those laptops are so cheap these days, that the difference between upgrading and buying a decent laptop isn't that big.
  9. Niice. Ihave to try some of these lines rather soon.
  10. Normally, a short frame would be better for natural, since it's more maneuverable and easier to handle around.
  11. I just can't understand how straining an ankle can hurt more than dislocating it. My ankle was totally dislocated and f**ked, but I didn't even notice it before I saw it. Didn't feel a shit. Clearly it was worse after taking the support bandage off after a week, but still, no severe pain.
  12. Bet it rides nice, but the frame shape and color is just horrid in my opinion.
  13. Nice one! Like your up to fronts.
  14. I just bought a long Control. Everyone says it rides nice, and since I was looking for a new longer frame, I chose to go for it. I really don't think you can go wrong with it. Edit: the short one in your case.
  15. It's a very good brake. Served me well. So stfu
  16. Clearly it would. But sending my frame to Tarty from Norway, isn't free. Also, a helicoil kit would cost me more than £100. And noone seems to have heard of helicoiling here in Norway..
  17. Can barely see it. Jubilee clip might do the job, but that looks just gay. Could tap to m6, think I'll do that.
  18. Hi. So, I've stripped the 4bolt mount threads on my frame, so it's basically useless at the moment. I'm sitting at a Pure 09 frame, but the top tube is off by some millimetres on the centre. Will this affect it's rideability?
  19. For a starter, antifreeze fluid is designed to be gentle with the cooling system in a car. The cooling system consist of a series of hoses, seals and so on. Now, the basis material for most types of seals, tubes and for example o-rings, is Polyurethane. So, antifreeze fluid will not break seals in any way. When you talk about maintenance and security, what do you mean? I personally have experienced no more maintenance or less security whilst using oil. Also gives a very nice lever feel.
  20. 26 Edit: That was a lazy post.. I'd go 26. The bike is clearly longer, which seems very preferable for tgs. I would assume a 26" feels a lot better for TGS than a 24" anyways.
  21. That's pretty good. Now go learn sidehops, rear wheel jumping and pedalkicks. Then you're off to it! Have fun!
  22. I've got a RainKing 2,5 tyre on the back. It's pretty heavy at 1,2kg, but sticky and good as hell. Not pinched in the two months I've used it. Mountain King would be my second choice. Quite an amount lighter, but I reckon it's a lot weaker than the RainKing/DerKaiser tyres.
