  1. Trying to knock the bearing out atm... It seems im on the path to knocking the bearings apart rather than out, they wont budge and im really worries that i'm gunna knock the middle part out instead of the outer. Anyone know how I could avoid this? Maybe find a working video out to knock it out with the drive shaft locked in? Edit - Nvm, hit it harder, worked. Edit #2 - Do I NEED to lube it?
  2. Lol Damon you crazy f**k ;D You ok though?

  3. Foreign Beggars Listen to Hold On.
  4. Easy guys, gunna stay with a cousin for a few days and he lives in stourport, i'd be getting the train up to brum and i'm hoping for a ride about and getting picked up later rather than sooner. Anyone up for a day in brum?
  5. Who was in farnburough the other day? My mate was on way to college and said some matey with a white mod, jagged rotor on front disk, go on the train at farn... Its fairly close to me and i'm trying to get hold of some local riders.
  6. http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/laptop/range/v13.html Get the pro - It'll last you for years.
  7. Your laptop has 512mb of onboard graphics. That 512 is also shared by your ram so with your 3gb of ram - 512 from graphics you should have about 2.5gb of ram and the 512graphics. Somthing is obviously not telling your ram to gief to graphics :/
  8. I had some old 6-7month old stretched as fook chain on and kept making it skip slightly... It was the chain skipping on the cog though and not the internals

  10. Nice riding mate, lovin my camera work in oxford lol If I can get some cash you up for newbury on sunday?
  11. I have a HS33, want rear disk but cant 'cos king so I wanna use a vee. Havnt touched my bike in a few days but when I do i'll shorten the brake cable then set the pads up and go for a ride. Will post results
  12. All internal cables should be included, if not when you're installing the pc you'll notice which are missing and they should only be £2-3 each off some random sites. I'd probs change that case to be honest, it looks huge for what is being put in there plus it looks kinda tacky... This looks clean and comes with a 500w psu or this case.. These both look better (imo, its up to you / your customer though) and come with a psu making it work out cheaper.
  13. First thing I noticed... You chose DDR2 ram and a DDR3 motherboard... I'd go with this ram instead, 1600mhz memory is INCREDIBLY fast and its near enough the same price as what you linked... Both of those processors are good although if he can stretch for the more expensive one DO IT, it will last you a good 2-3 years before you even need to THINK about doing an upgrade. That hdd is terrible... Should be aiming for 32mb cache and 7200rpm MINIMUM. This is not much more expensive and will be ALOT faster, trust me. Honestly what is the point in having a powerful cpu + ram + hard drive system with an on board graphics controller? That'd be like buying a ferrari engine and putting it in a peice of shit car, sure its fast but visually it looks terrible. Ask him how much he'd stretch for a graphics card - Again, only ATI for this, Most cards price matched to nVidia have better benchmarks. Let me know what his budget for a gpx card is and get back to me.
  14. Just try what both me and monkeyseemonkeydo said, loosen chain, tighten crank, tighten chain.
  15. Maybe tightening your chain pulled the spocket at a slight angle? If it was in the slightest bit loose it has slight freedom to move. Slack off the chain, tighten crank bolt as much as possible, tighten chain again and check to see if it still rubs.
  16. Ah ok, well the 4th mount can still be tapped, whether it is able to be coiled to M5 or not is dependant on the drilling. You might have to go up to an M6 (and just drill out the brake clamps a little bit).
  17. Somthing to look out for though is that some people link a bike for e.g. £250 that is absolutly terrible, this is where people should help out. "For that cost that bike is not worth it" rather than "That bike is too heavy you won't like it".
  18. I've never really been a grammar nazi but i'm sorry, I couldn't let this many mistakes slide In return to your question, they look like fairly solid bikes. The one on ebay seems to be just a bit over priced at £250 and also seems to be missing a booster (Those frames do not come with a built in booster so I can imagine they'd flex quite a lot). Another thing is that the seller doesn't list an exhaustive list of parts so it could be a fairly basic build. Heres the link for anyone wanting to take a quick look.
  19. Just leave the 4th mount for now, wait untill it strips. People say helicoiling is stronger (it is) buuuut you gotta think... Thread the frame = Heli coil... Thread the helicoil = tapping it to a larger hole. TL:DR Leave it un-coiled for now, got somthing to fall back on.
  20. I dont have any half links :/ By shortening the cable I meant that its about 1ft too long still... I'll let a bike shop do it as my pliers barely made it through the outer and left it kinda frayed... I expect they'll have the proper tools.
  21. Old heatsink adaptors - cant raise them. I've managed to get enough clearance with an old stretched chain, barely enough but its alright I guess... Next thing is shortening the cable
