  3. i took the paint off my rim with a file and that was so fine it took about 10 mins to go smooth, i would just take the tire off, put the wheel in the frame and file it down on both sides. chris
  4. what do you think about biffy clyro saturday super house ? chris
  5. a am doing 24" street so its prety flowing but there is a bit of pure trials in there like hooks, side hop, drops, etc. i mad a video before with dubstep music and it worked realy well but i am thinking more rock this time, a bit more staop and start. I will look out for some songs and see what i can find. chris
  6. i am thinking about making another video and trying to think of a good song for it and nothing is coming into mind, any suggestions ? chris
  7. ye there not bedded in yet but just give it time and they will be fine, it depends what your doing realy, my coasts took about 1 hour on a grind but i dont know about how long for yellowsm if you just ride you will feel a difference, they will start to make noise and will hold alot better. hope i have helped. chris
  8. i know its too late but what about kenda k rads ? got them on y dj bike and they role well and give good drip on and off road, prety light aswell, dont know about puntures because i dont run low pressures on my dj bike but they good for dj and street if u ask me. also if you ever want near enought pure slicks get the maxxis hook worms, role for ever and good drip in the dry but prety poor in the wet butwhat do you exspect from slicks. if u want slicks go hook works.
  9. from what i have heard they are loud, how long have you had the pads ? because they might not of bedded in yet and are they set up square onto the rim ? are the pads clean? do they perform well becasue if they do i wouldnt change it becasue it gets on my nerves lol, if im doing a manual or soemthing and i drag the back brake or tap the brake to get the front down a bit it makes a annoying noise :/ chris
  10. sorry mate, dont like beta's, the kick starts are on the left arnt they ? and im not looking for something yet though, got to fix my mx bike first as it blew last race lol. chris

  15. ye i have but times have changed and things are getting more exspensive, thats why im selling my dmr so i can by wheels for my trials bike. I will probably look at getting a job and see how it goes. Just to let you all know i wasnt realy looking for sponsorship i was just wondering what kind of level you have to be to get sponsored, of course it would be good but its not realy a nesecity. Job first then if that fails then i dont know what. Thanks for your help and sorry about it neeing a stupid topic. chris
  16. well why does everyone else want to be sponsored ? and yes free stuff, im 14, have no money, getting good and serious about biking and have no money to by parts that i have broke and my parents arnt going to fork out money when i want it and it would be a good thing to achive. chris
  17. so the level isnt that important, its your atuttude thats more importent ? chris
  18. ye sorry i should of poste it in the new members chat, sorry chris i know that but what kind of level would be excepted because there not just going to sponsor somone and give them free things or discount on things if there rubbish at biking but have good knowledge, spirit, helpful etc.... are they ?
  19. im geting serious about biking and just wondering what kind of level do you have to be to get sponsored, I dont compete i just do street on a 24" ? chris
  20. i find it easy but i guess the best way for you to find out is to go out with you mate for a while and ride for a bit on your trials bike then hop on his bmx and see how you get on and then get back onto your trials bike, if you find it hard to adaped you might be able to change the set up on one of your bikes or boh by changing the bar height like lower the bars on your bmx a bit and raise them a little on you trials bike so then they wont be as different and as hard to get straight onto and ride like you didnt get off it. i dj bike, 24" trials and bmx and i can hop onto my dj then straight onto my bmx or trials bike, i spose you get use to it after a while. Hope i helped. chris
  21. Looks the bees knees ,are they the oddyssey twisted pedals ? what are grip on them like ? im considering buying some. chris
  22. 26" tubes on a 24", how does that work ? surely they wouldnt fit, be to big ? chris
  23. im a big fan of danny and i was just wodering what gearing, brake pads etc he uses ? also what kind of weight is his bike ? i want to know because oviously if i make my bike the same as his i will ride like him no just wondering realy. chris
  24. if you think ing of real dry street then i maxxis hook worms are great, i used them for street on 24" dmr and they wer amazing, good life and prety good grip but as soon as they touch dirt you slide all over the place. halo twin rails are good slicks aswell, good gri and cool colours. I would stay away from using kenda k rads on the back because i used one for about a week and already had a pinch walst running them at about 30psi. Try looking on bmx sites and see what 24" tyres they have got. Hope i helped. chris
