  1. i think its all that but it would be all that and a bag of chips if you heated up the joint/welds and put that stuff on it to make them go blueish, like the gussets and all the welds chris

  3. ye i think chain tesioners do look prety gay. I am going to make one of those spoke tesioners some time soon. will get pics up when it is light. chris
  4. broke my deralier hanger so i shortedned the chain and was running 22-14 and then the chain streched and was loos, then changed to 22-16 and had to use a chain tesioner, its a single wheeled tesioner and i couldnt be bothered with a deralier haner so i cut the top bit in half (down to the top of second hole) then took the snaped half of the hanger off the frame and filed back the template for the hanger to go into on the frame so the nut would fit on. then just slid the hanger on and put the nut on and then when you tighten up the nut it pulls back the tesioner and made the chain tight, great succes !!! will try and get some pictures up soon. anyone else got any bodges they did to a chain tesioner ? post them if you did. chris
  5. its because the rip cranks have a 5 arm mount and the onza tpro cranks have a skrew on crank, you need one of these and a bash ring that will fit http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=396&category_id=73 these go up to 22t so you wouldnt have to change the rear spocket, you would need a bash ring to fit aswell http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=11077&category_id=1 this is the only bash ring that will fit a 22 or 23t sprocket thats on tartybikes. you might be able to find one some where else but you need a skrew on sprocket and a bashring to fit the sprocket. hope i helped. chris.

  9. i would personly try and stay away from one of these but if your going to go for it then ask how long he has had, if he bought it from new, any nasty scratches and dents. I would say maybe £150 for it or £200at a push but i would try and stear away from it though, have alook on the for sale part on here and if you see something you like go on there profile and send them a email or add them on msn, thats what i did when looking for a bike. Hope i helped. chris

  20. if your running the evo adapters then you are ment to have a washr underneathe them to stop them from moving in. It could be that you pull the brake on and it pushes them out and then it just goes in and stays in (you pull the brake and then they spring back in) I had this problem, dont know if you get what i mean but if you did hope it helps. chris
