  6. Leeds massive! Annual summer ride this Sunday Damon. Should be a big turn out with many familiar faces
  7. Gap at 2:11. Doubt its the biggest but still impressive stuff.
  8. Keep my rims and pads super clean Hot soapy water on the rim with a scrubbing sponge and a skim with the grinder on the pads gets the brake working brilliantly again.
  9. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/164375-damon-watson-chill-hd/page__p__2287200#entry2287200 Mines louder than this. But essentially running the same brake set-up. Works seriously well.
  10. Is perfect Never really liked 160mm cranks, and with my previous frame, changing the rear sproket to 13t threw out the brake allignment. So I bought some 170mm cranks ands its brilliant. Tad lighter feel, more leverage. Still running 18 - 12 gearing.
  11. Set of black urbans would finish it nicely With the same brake set up as my rear. Would be savage

    Pads

Just the way some of us are On a serious note, do have a look at the Pad reviews. I've posted a few on the sets of heatsinks I've had and theyve all been briliant. I dont see myself buying any other pad now.
  16. Id love to see that, but I think Il whack them in my Heatsink or TNN backings haha. Depends how good the backings look.....
  17. Ice 2 this weekend!

  18. Update! Still running the Heatsink CNC Yellows. Managed to get a grind on my Trialtech race rim that they worked incredibly well on, with plenly of bite and hold. Lots and lots of hold. This set seem to be wearing better too, with still over 5mm of pad left. Now as said, I changed to an Echo TR last weekend. Always had my rims ground, so decided to give smooth rims a shot. Built the wheel, tyre on, tube ect. Cleaned the rim, ground the pads flat ( TT rims have a tapered sidewall) and got them as square as you could possibly get them, with the whole pad hitting the rim at the same time. Wow. It is incredible. The pads grip the rim like nothing Ive tried. They bite instantly, with a very loud honk to them. They seem to hold well too, but was using a borrowed frame so will have to wait until the weekend when I get my Ice to get some proper use through them. Smooth rims seems to be a winner, even more so when I dont ride in the wet. Black sidewalls look pretty swish too......
  19. For smooth rims, Heatsink CNC Yellows are the Shizz. My Citrus on a smooth onza wheelset were beast though!
  20. This really is lovely Chain looks a little slack though?
  21. Tubes, Tyres, Grips, Forks. Frames. My Python only lasted 6 months And my Try-All forks latsed 3 months from new.
  22. Had been hearing a few rumors that Trialtech had been developing a brake pad, and hear it is! http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/hs33_brake_pads/trialtech_sport/c4p11592.html Maybe these are the final version of the illusive orange pad Mr Shaw was running in his Pure Videos. If they are, then after seenng how they've performed for Stan, Im definitely trying some
  23. I began to see where you were coming from, Until you said biketrials wasnt much of a sport. What you choose to do is your buisness. And what your son chooses to do in his day should be his decision. I hate seeing kids as young as this being made to train over and over. It shouldnt be "Go train on your Moto Trials, it should be "Dad! Can we go out on the motorbikes?" with a huge grin on his face. Making him do it every day will probably bore him of them pretty soon. Just because your older son took to this well, doesn't mean your youngest will. I think you have made a bad name for yourself coming on here and posting that. Did not enjoy.
