i had this problem for a while. the beading had snapped inside and left part of the tyre with no beading, which ment it popped off every now and then. simple remedy : buy a new tyre

(possible New Clothing Company)emphasis Clothing..T-Limburn replied to fat-jake's topic in Beginners Trials Chat i very much doubt that he wants people to test clothes ashley...

i never learnt backhops i just went straight for kick hops and it took 2 days!

king make all of their parts awkward so that special / specific tools are required. that way you have to buy the extra tools or pay someone else to do it for you. chris king is a bar steward company really, although the parts are good lol. as has been said, thats just another way of making money. the tool will probably cost about a million squids.

give clive leeson a ring leeson website use the website to find contact details the 20inch was originally a one off i believe for steve a but its becoming more popular.

no i think this is new ash smo had a silver ronnie ages ago and we were all amazed lol but he got the tart to strip the black one it good that they are available in different colours now
-
thats pretty good as its half term may consider making the trip but that only if my bike stops being gay!! Tom

i saw it on a southampton ride before christmas and it does look ok built up. but something comes to mind.....#GU mod#
-
the nicest mod is the new revell thats in prototyping at the moment. i've riden daz's one at doneys garage a few times and it made me seriously consider going back to the land of mod!... it is a nice length, sits on the back wheel with no effort at all and feels so smooth to ride. the prototypr 26" should be with chris doney soon, so we should expect to see the release of both new frames from revell later in the year. they look similar to the onza limey, but the 26" is going to be 1065 in length - perfect Tom

static flat to flat i've done around 7 ft 6 inches ish (7.5ft) rolling about 8 ft 6 inches ish (8.5ft) bunny hop about 8 ft ish gap to front wheel flat to flat 6 ft 6 inches (6.5ft) although i havent riden for six or seven weeks now as my bike is gay and so i will have to start all over. i'll probably be at about a foot less than the measurements above until my technique comes back again.

no i know that they're still good, but not compared to some other riders around nowadays who are better, ie fletch, cls, porter...
-
i dont think that people will be able to get to the position where the martins are even though there are many more riders who are better then them. the martins are not crazily good anymore imo but are still well known as theyve been around so long. i dont think anybody's mentioned fletch yet. he is getting crazy good and better known all the time. it's also good that he turns up on rides to mix with us lot. there are a few people that are becoming big trials personalities but they will probably not get to the well known status like the martins and ot pi Tom

yes patrick, thats me! will be good to see you again. it should all be fine if i can get a couple of bits sorted on my bike Tom oh and should be a great ride!
-
the best thing to do first would be to get in touch with phil to see whether he can sort anything out for you, and then look elsewhere if he can't.
-
ash it should fit as the control has a 68mm bb width, it hust depends on the overall width as you'll obviously need crank clearance. Tom oh and good topic as i'm also considering...
-
lol, wayne was running a flat tyre at the nbr comp as he couldnt be bothered to fix it. he did a big drop gap like it too and the rim was fine! everyone elses seem to die quick!
-
the rb booster bolts that it comes with are longer than the likes of the echo ones! this means that you have to buy spacer things that are big enough or small enough for the bolt to go through, but also be in tyhe frame enough to lock nicely
-
i have one of the 26inch o6 echo rims and it is awesome holds grinds amazingly very very strong just completely solid and worth the buy Tom edit: i never ran the rim with the anodised sides so i dont know how they work with them, as i got the tart to grind the rim when he built my wheel. yes they are very wide - 48mm! you just have to set your brake up around the wheel and get it as good as possible.
-
i got a PSP and a couple of games a £50 cheque other bits of money from random peeps £108 in christmas paper round tips!! some other stuff too. has been an alrite christmas this year oh and loadsa deodorant which to be honest is always very handy and needed
-
nice pics ash. good effort mate. the rims are awesome its only because of the crazy move that porter did that his died i swears! oh and tic ash was only jokin he knows they are good, he was just making conversation.....

i had a look at mine today and it is definantly an fsa xc170. it is 105mm long with 6 degree rise. it is a really nice stem and everyone should get one!! tom
-
ali im pretty sure that i'm running the fsa xc170 that you mentioned above, and i have to say that i absolutely love my stem. these are very strong, unbelievably light and also very good looking. they come in black with a silver front part, and this looks great. get one of these stems!!! Tom

i have to agree with rich here, as they are excellent tyres but seem to be almost a little too solid. excellent tyres in terms of wear and pinch protection, but are a little dull on the back wheel with no bounce or real feel to them etc. edit: oh and the 2.2 michelin is a very nice width when on a decent width rim. it is more like a 2.4 or something when on something like a koxx or echo rim. infact the 2.5 version of the tyre when on a fat rim would probably be too wide. go for the 2.2 version.

i think the ashtons were actually just 26inch forks with extra mounts that were lower for 24inch. also i think that fred (derf) uses 26inch forks with a disc so this is also fine.
