well if zhi have offered chris a better deal then that is all that is needed for him to leave revell. also, ash is right, as the proto revell frame was actually due in the country before pretty much this time last year, then was put back to xmas, then easter, then summer..... i say good on chris for making the move, as i am sure the zhi frames are much nicer and they will offer him better support than revell did, as they were not always too good at getting in touch etc.

mine lasted ages from when they started making noise to when they snapped, but you cannot put a fixed time on these things. so i would say that they will last for a bit, but i would get some new ones asap basically as waiting till parts snap is not always wise! Tom

there is not a huge amount of difference really if you set the brake up well the 160 can be just as powerful as the others my 160 is insanely good atm i would prefer a larger rotor though

okay as the crankbolts did not arrive yesterday and me and ash were hoping of riding today does anyone know if the koxx crank bolts are m12 or m15? i've tried to work it out but can't! i keep getting different measurements! Tom edit: they are m15

steves just having a few problems at the moment. it took mine 4 weeks to arrive but that was partly due to backlog of orders and partly as the first set he sent were lost in the post so he had to reprocess my order. on a positie note though my brake has never been better coustsinks on a koxx rim are the way forward!! super loud, super bitey, super hold. edit: he also sent me some snowy pads for free which i have lent to ash-kennard so he can see what they are like and they too are awesome pads.

16:14 mate thats the most commonly used ratio when 16 is up front. the smallest cog you can get on a standard sized stock hub driveshell is 13 anyway.

ok cheers, i wasnt meaning to have a go or anything, purely because there are so many happy HSB customers which is why i tried to avoid talking about it on the forum, and i appreciate the problems you have been having and the fact that you have been making the effort to reply to pm's and threads like this one. the only reason i hadnt got back to you sooner was that i was on me hols. on another note (the one on which the topic was supposed to be... i think that heatsink pads are very reasonably priced, since the plastic backings pads are under £20, just like other competing companies, the only thing that makes HSB seem expensive from some angles is the CNC backed pads, but these are obviously going to be more expensive as they are metal as opposed to plastic. in the long run this saves money as you can then just buy the material and re-use the backings which is a very original and awesome idea. thanks alot steve, Tom
