  1. After some riders having fun in the sections at Bracken yasterday, beat this suckers <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DmRGeUs5sLU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> link isnt working so I am sure somebody can fix it off to work. Its on trial magazine web page.
  2. Hi All. Thanks again to all observers and officials especially Barbara for another great trial from the only Scottish team. Having Neil as an observer was worth the 5 hour trip home alone!!! Boys are improving and still having fun. See you all at Blackpool or Bob Macgregors.
  3. Comp on the 22nd at Bob Macgregor trials Academy in North Ayrshire. See competition section. Come and ride then you can meet most of Scotlands riders. Routes for every level.
  4. Hi Guys, Scottish club here. Our first round is up The M77 about 30 miles South of Glasgow from Stranrear Ferry on the 22nd April. (see Scottish club in the comp section) Get a car load and come and join us? Weekend and you can camp on site if you want.
  5. I have been away working and havn't had a chance to do anything about it. As only two have taken 10 secs to reply, then I will talk with the organisers and Saturday it shall be. I will em them over the weekend and keep you posted. Off to Frazerbourgh now.
  6. Hi Guys, Thanks for a great day from the Scottish team. Simon slipped and hurt his back (of the bike), then slipped pushing it between sections and hurt his shoulder. (competing with Ben now I think) and then got a nose bleed and cold. But the first ride at novice for him he managed most sections and had some fun! Aaron did well for him at Inter and knows what he needs to work at. Thanks to all the officials and the obsevers for a great day. back home in under four hours. See you all at Bracken.
  7. Hi team, I have been asked if we could have the event on the Saturday 26th May to work with their Bike weekend. I have replied saying that traditionally events are on a Sunday. I can set up on Saturday and I know some Dads and riders work Saturdays. Can you let me know? If I dont get any responses I will asume no one cares if its changed. The event is near Kirkliston, near Edinburgh and has a huge Granite quarry. I cant use the quarry as Tarmac have said NO to the competition, but there are lots of rocks on the hill side around the quarry. If its still not in use then we practice there with our trials bikes on Sundays. The farm that its based at has a big cafe for breakfast and grub afterwards, proper toilets and a car park and I can put an artificial section or two in the car park area for the spectators. Proper trial this one could be. (say in yoda voice)
  8. Be carefull,he will be looking for a baby sitter for the Bill weekend!!! Was up your way Monday in Skye doing a couple of surveys, and stopped in for a coffee at the venue. All the big world round rocks are still there. Got a big toy to move them as well. You coming over for the British round in April at the Bill?
  9. See you at round 1 Bob Macgregor?

  10. Thats a brilliant attitude and ALWAYS wins (even with the police (most of the time SP30 last year) and little hitler security guards). It is even more satisfying watching the person expecting an argument, not getting one. Makes you feel just warm and superior in every way.
  11. Best one up here in Bonnie Scotland, was my lads were out in the street with some mates and this crazy old women comes at them with walking stick swinging around her head and we shopping trolley not far behind. Luckely the first one in line saw her coming and ducked. The rest just scattered. She then went to the police station and said that one of them had knocked her to the ground by wheeling over her!! The police then came and warned the guys that if their were any more incedents then there would be ASBOs and bike taken of them. I went down to talk to them, and the answer was we know who she is and that she does cause problems, BUT as it was an official complaint they have to act on it. Nothing else came of it since, but you gotta love the loonies. I had one yesterday where I was reverse parking my van in Edinburgh into a space to see this middle age woman in my mirrors staggering away. I thought sh*t Ive hit her. Stopped the van jumped out to see if she was okay. She looked straight at me and went "Im F***in mad I am" several times and bet you thought you hit me, gave me a big cuddle, put on her mirror shades and sped of down the street laughing her ass off. Love life!! Maybe the first old dears daughter
  12. I put a disk back wheel on my lads Onza Blade frame. The new wheel/hub came from Tarty with snail cams. You have to measure the inside face of the drop out to a pint equal on both sides, and drill a 3.2mm hole (from the outside as the drill will not fit inbetween the drop outs.) You then have to tap the hole out to a 4mm thread. I put in a M4 x just less than the thickness of the drop out allen bolt on the inside face. I did put lock tight on the threads to lock them in. The snail cams then can adjust on these bolts. I also had to file down the cam adjustment lever on the brake side to clear the caliper. I have them on so they adjust anticlockwise, this is so they dont hang down and get bent on any rocks. It has worked fine for months now. The hole in the picture is only a drain hole for any water that gets in the frame. The bikes are away at the moment so cant get pics. Hope this helps.
  13. Round 1 at Bob Macgregor entry form here. 22nd April 2012 Club memebership forms to follow. For some reason it will not let me upload membership forms. Will get it sorted. If not just join on the day. Same as last year.

  15. Ross your taking the sarcastic NO the wrong way. I understood what you meant. Away and paint yer nails you big Jessie!
  16. They were in a small trials course racing on motor trials bikes against Dougie as a "Dougie against the rest of the world(red bull riders)" it was well done and a few good laughs. Getting old and memory fades but Peaty went over the bars when his bike went into neutral re run and Dougie one. I think Ashton beat him fair and square. Might be wrong and i am sure someone will correct me. It was all done at short notice as they were supposed to have Danny at half time but he is still recovering from his Knee op. Next year!!
  17. Hi David, Thats it dont think thats ever been done before in competition. Hi Ben yup forgot about his up to front drop down on the Pidcock section. Fujigas leap of the drums was another highlight. So many last night. There was a big bus load came down, organised by Ian Shankie of Bob Macgregor trials park. Big thanks to Ian for organising everything.
  18. The Scottish team were there. Did anybody get his reverse 6 foot down step into the skip, so he didnt need to turn it round inside the skip. He just totalled everybody last night. The move posted and the the one I mentioned were worth the trip and entry fee alone. It was a joy to witness someone so good on a bike.
