The neon wing looks amazing and if it was looks alone I'd go for that, however we need to know Geo's and how you ride.
All I remember of our time riding together is that you rolled up / down everything due to a hub with about 9 engagement points.
I don't think my liver can take another Radfest, Friday 6ish pm - Sunday about 1pm was spent as a muddy, sweaty and drunken mess. Turns out I'm a better rider too
Then I have to buy all the parts seperate increasing both cost and time invested.
Plus I'd rather have this bike this year, heard Marino can take months.
Hey guys, I've been looking around and can't find much in the way of 24" pure trials, am I right in thinking It's pretty much Echo or nowt?
I know theres the Because Simple frame but I'm wondering about full builds. I'm also not too sure about the Because's geo although I'm liking the disc mount.
What whatever up front. Bmx tyres, trials etc.
Currently got a Kenda Small Block 8 on front and although it's light and bouncy grip is something to be desired.
I used to love my holy roller for front though.
I've got a 20" and everytime I replace something another problem arises (bikes sorted atm though)
Contemplating the switch simply because I feel cramped on a 20" yet 26's feel too chunky and cumbersome.
Anyone have any experiences with this brake? Test rode a customers bike earlier, 29er with these brakes F+R on 160mm gusset rotors and it is the most powerful and solid feeling brake I've ever used.
That was only a 5minute leisurely ride just to make sure everything was okay with the bike. I did however try and make them slip by pedalling whilst stationary with the brakes on and no luck.
I figure if they are this powerful on 29" wheels with only a 160mm rotor imagine what they'd be like on a 20"?
Has anyone used the brake for trials?
No rattling could mean it has one too many bearings, they have a rattling sound as it it's missing a bearing but adding one in (which looks to be perfect) causes them to lockup
Because TGS riders are notorious for bashing, to some it's repetetive etc
I prefer it to comp/natty, while I'll agree that natty riders have a lot of skill it's all too slow and boring for me.
Bring back CLS!
Profile cassette doesnt mean it has a freehub body large enough for gears, it's simply the name.
+1, I have this rim but in 32h and it has barely even a scratch on it which is surprising considering I'm a typical tgs basher.
High front end generally feels nicer for everything.
Low front end for TGS bashers than might as well run their stems upsidedown for their obsession with long and low.
