Sexual! With my silver rims, raw forks and soon to be Tech brakes it'll be too much silver, might paint my front rim black as well as my forks because that frame is lush.
I went through 3 brand new left hand square taper cranks before moving to Isis, never destroyed a right hand though, nor have I had it happen to me on anyother bike.
Bit of a random question I know but still, been thinking about painting my comp for a while as my forks are already raw I figured I could colour match frame and forks.
Wanting to see if anyone had raw'd / painted the comp to see how it looks without the original colourscheme.
Cheers, Mikey.
Masking tape, electrical tape (purdy colours), normal tape, tapetape
Maybe mix it up a little, learn some form of martial art and use the grading belts (again, purdy colours) as rim tape.
Not liking the idea of bb7 rear due to flexy calipers and cable flex in the longer cable.
I also want tech levers because I'm stupidly picky with reach and bite point.
Not sure but I've heard of them being as good as or even better than a hope.
Bearing in mind that is only word of mouth, no first hand experiance.
They are post mount though so you're forced to use at least a 180mm rotor on most mods / fork setups.
Edit* Just googled, they're 22mm
IS to Post mount. Means I'm forced to run a minimum of a 180mm rotor but I'm sick of having a poor brake due to the disc being off center (I'm terrible at setting up discs )
Hydraulic discs on a post mount fitting are stupidly easy to center (loosen bolts, spin wheel, press and hold brake, tighten bolts) and with the tech lever It'll mean I can fine tune my brake to how I like it.
Sure he uses the v2's and not x2's?
The official hope website doesnt recommend them for trials, I just thought I'd post here as I can't miss an oppotunity such as this.
Heya guys, looking at getting some 180mm, post mount hope techs, found a pair of V2's for a decent price and I'm wondering how they'd hold up to Trials?
Heya guys! I know a few riders have used these discs for trials and found them to be amazing, just thought I'd let those of you interested in getting them they're now £60 each on crc.

Pinch gap, preload with your tyre right on the edge, it'll pinch and throw you off.
Kinda like rail gapping, I just let the pinch throw me across rather than pedal kicking off a rail.
Fosters will give me the shits, Stella wont.
Sugar free energy drink gives me the shits, all other forms of caffeine (same brand energy drink but with sugar) wont.
I guess you just gotta find out what wont make your anus explode.
Near unused Echo SL - £40ish
Mint condition Monty Hopes - Probably about £90 each
Onza comp frame has barely even a scratch let alone any dents or cracks - £100ish.
If I'd really only get £350 for the complete bike I'm splitting this bitch
Cheeky bump, Haven't touched my bike since Radfest so I might be selling up.
Any idea of how much this beauty would go for? Barely even a scratch on the frame, rear wheel is pretty much brand new etc.
