  1. I'm using a trial zone rotor on the rear with a trial zone brake. The amount of bite it has surprised me and it's got very good hold too. Obviously this isn't just down to the rotor though.
  2. Went out after i posted this and the squeeking stopped for some reason Thanks anyway, will do all that if they start doing it again
  3. Just had a go on it and when i push down on the drive side pedal theres a squeeking noise, anyone know whats causing this? thanks
  4. Thought this might be the problem, but it never happened with my last cranks (trialtech sports) which were new aswell, but that might be because the BB was also new. Thanks for the help
  5. Hi all, I bought new cranks and fitted them tonight, but they dont go onto the bb fully. The spacers on the BB can move about 2mm each side and spin freely, so obviously the cranks aren't on properly. I've tightened them as much as i can but they dont seem to budge. Is this normal for new cranks? I've never had this problem before but maybe its the type of crank. They're Try-All cranks (the silver ones) on a Trialtech Sport Lite BB. Thanks
  6. Yeah it's probably not sub 8 if I've been weighing it wrong. Can't be much more than 8.1-8.2 ish, so it should be sub 8 once I get new cranks, front brake and rear sticky lite tyre
  7. Ah right, that's fine then haha. Yeah the person I've got it off has one that is thicker on one half than the other. Nah it's not bothering me too much, was more thinking it might affect the strength of it or something, but if it won't it's all good
  8. Hi, I bought a Procarbon downtube protector off a mate today but there's something weird about it. It's got a line going down the middle on the inside, a small bump, meaning it doesn't go right onto the frame, but it only sticks up ~1mm. Is this normal? Also the stuff on the inside of it is a smooth material and is glossy black, but on the old protector I had it was rough and a grey colour on the inside. Just checking if this is normal, or if it will affect the strength of the protector in any way so I don't be a pussy about it and ride my bike properly Thanks
  9. Looks really nice! What is that you're using as protection for the downtube and chainstay?
  10. Yeah i was thinking that when i seen his bike haha, ill find some way of measuring it properly soon
  11. Yeah i was holding the scales, thought this may have been where i went wrong
  12. Not touching it at all - wasn't easy trying to take a picture and lift the bike without touching it though! Haha.
  13. They're just cheap luggage scales i bought, and the reading always seems to change but its always around the 7.7 area ..And before you say it, yes the whole bike is off the ground This is how I've measure the weight of my bikes but am i doing it right? have a feeling I'm not...
  14. I know it's gay but if he really needs proof haha Yeah it's sweet, only really done anything on smallish walls, too scared to hit it haha! Hopefully I'll have a small video out this weekend, got a few clips already
  15. Why would i lie about the weight of my bike? Would be pointless. Im not trying to get people to think my bike is amazing by stating a false weight... Ive weighed it a few times with 2 sets of scales and it always says 7.7. If you really need proof ill take a picture tomorrow night.
  16. Weighed it with 2 different scales and they both read 7.7kg. Thanks though!
  17. Dual disc is much nicer than a rear mag! Love it!

  18. Ill be using that for my chainstay but using a tarty chainstay protector for the bit my chain is hitting
  19. Yeah thought that might work, will give it a shot tomorrow
  20. Oh right haha, well I've got one on the way so I'll use that
  21. What's a neopreen guard? If it works I'll invest in one! I've seen some carbon sticker things at halfords - would they be ok for protecting the area? And also slightly OT but would they be any good for chain stay protection or would they just get eaten through? Thanks
