  1. Think the rockman stem might be okay if i tilt my bars back slightly as theyre really far forwards!
  2. I'll get a small video edited after my exams, sometime next week probably Cheers!
  3. Nah think i'll be needing a higher/longer stem than those as i feel really hunched over on it. Not too bad with my current stem though, had a wee shot on it and it feels lovely! Giving it a proper ride tomorrow Cheers guys!
  4. Cool, thought it might be as i always here the same noise it makes in videos of dual disc riders, cheers!
  5. Hi, Got my rockman built today and at first part of one link of the chain was touching the frame. Managed to get that sorted by using a freewheel spacer and the sprocket run the opposite way. However, it's fine when the bike is rolling but when i kick or land something the chain bounces up and hits the frame slightly. Is there any way to fix this or is this normal on these frames (manus 2) and i just need to put a carbon sticker- thingy or another chainstay protector on the upper chainstay. Will upload pictures if needed/ Thanks for any help
  6. Hi, just thought I'd update this with some more detailed pictures of my rockman Had a couple of rides on it and it rides amazing! It's usually something dumb like the tyre won't fit.

my favourite that if it depends on a very small thing, like a spacer or a screw.

  8. Ah cool, thanks! Will take a look at it tomorrow
  9. Ah forgot to mention that, its a Hope trial zone onto a rockman manus 2 frame
  10. Hi, I've just made the switch to dual disc but i have no idea how to set a disc brake up. Does anyone know of any videos that will show me or if someone can explain how to? It's probably pretty simple but i'm clueless haha thanks
  11. This was a major problem for me in the last comp I did, by the last few sections I literally couldn't pull my brake as much as I needed to and this made me roll out when I landed things. If you're doing intermediate and after a couple of sections find it too hard you can always change to novice.
  12. I've never ran a plate before, always had a bashring but thought it might be a better idea to use a plate with this frame since it's weaker than any I've had before. It's fine though, I'll stick with a ring, thanks for your help
  13. I'll just stick with a bashring and a downtube protector then Cheers
  14. I ordered a rockman manus 2 the other day and I'm not sure if I should order a bashplate or not. If I was to use one, could it potentially crack the frame after some hard hits or does the style of bash plate mount it has stop that? I don't know if a bashring would be enough protection for that area of the frame, I'm left foot forward so if I failed something like a frenchie ( at an angle) would the bashring stop me from hitting the frame most of the time? Any disadvantages of running a plate opposed to a ring? (other than a bit more weight) Cheers for any help
  15. Ordered my rockman manus 2! :D

My manus has been going 4 years strong with a heavy ride and its showing no signsof fatigue yet.

My Slate 2 lasted 6 months with no dents or even scratches! My Kortz 2.5 lasted just under 3 months with no scratches or dents at all..

  16. - Go to radfest 2013 - Go dual disc at the start of the year - Ride bigger and progress a lot
  17. Your Dad gardening at the start is 100% my favorite part though
  18. Any need for that? Good vid goode boy
  19. You just need to keep practising the other way, then it starts to feel nicer. Your style of riding, the way you ride, hard to explain haha
  20. Nice edit, and as always your ridings improved. Though I think you could benefit from sidehopping the other way, a few people I know have went from the "wrong way" as some call it to the "right" way and it massively improved their side hops. Apart from that your style is really nice too!
  21. I've actually found my cousts to be better than the adm's I'm currently running in terms of hold, but the bite on the adm's were great, at first. Think a new grind should sort bite and hold though as mines fairly dead.
  22. You're good at editing! Good riding aswell for the time you've been riding. Looking forward to your next video, you're progressing quickly!
