  1. Trialtech 160s and 165s are fine with a bashring, it's the rockman/try all cranks (160s and 165s) that can't fit them due to them having less threads
  2. Really like it! Looks good and has a strong spec too. How are you finding rear disc compared to maggy? And don't put silver cranks on, wouldn't look good with the orange and black IMO.
  3. Thats the one I've used a few times on a few different frames and all of them have been fine so its good quality, especially for the price.
  4. So if it cracks down to poor design, and they say it's not fit for cover, do you get a discount of another frame or something?
  5. Kezza? :| Cool, think I'll go for it and get one (providing I don't change my mind again to go 24... ) But surely if it cracks within a few months you've got warranty to back you up? Unless it was your fault by denting it etc What month do new rockmans usually come out? I figure if it's January/February then I might aswell wait for them since ill be buying around Christmas
  6. Yeah that sounds the same as me. Was it brand new?
  7. Sorry, i should have mentioned its the aurem or manus that i would be buying. I dont like the look of the austin, and the akali doesnt have a rear disc mount.
  8. I've been thinking recently about buying a rockman mod frame, but I searched the forum for information and most people were saying the quality of the frames are bad and they're not for bashers. I'm wondering if, since then, quality of the rockman frames (specifically manus' and aurems) has improved? Also, what would you class as a basher? I've never cracked, snapped or even dented a frame before, But I have destroyed the chainstays on my ice with scratches from failed sidehops (I don't scratch them as much now, just used to hit them really hard when I failed, I would be using a hose on the chainstay and carbon protector on the down tube.) but apart from that my frame is in decent condition. Also it says on tarty 'this is a serious competition frame' for the manus 2 but not for the aurem 4. Why? Is the aurem stronger? If youve seen my riding, do you thnk i could get away with riding one and not killing it in a few months?I'd probably change frames again a year later so I'm not expecting it to last me years. Thanks for any help
  9. Dont know if you'd say its worse, but i was cycling down the road at a bus station, no busses were there so everyone had full view of me. I Was cycling fairly quickly and one hand slid off the grips, followed by the other and i fell against the bars then sideways and slid across the road. Everyone was looking at me, got straight back up and started looking at my bike ad rocking the bike back and forwards to make it seem like something went wrong with it. Massive cut on my arm and leg (was in shorts an tshirt). Pretty embarrassing as im pretty sure i heard people laughing haha. Unlucky with your fall though - i got my trousers caught in my chain and it judt ripped straight through them rather than throw me over the bars
  10. If you're wanting it I will, the drive side chainstays a bit destroyed though
  11. Looks well nice, I've been thinking of going dual disc and getting a rockman in a few months and this has tempted me even more Jealous
  12. That hook and gap to front were huge! Absolute monster Thought the noise at 3:05 was hilarious
  13. There was a memorial ride for Danny yesterday and i made the video. Much better weather than the past 2 years and a great turnout. Hope yous enjoy
  14. Thought the intro was cool, but felt it was pretty short and wanted to see more! Talented young rider, definitely going to be something great if he keeps riding
  15. Clips ive gotten from july until now, mostly my best stuff. Comment and enjoy
  16. Ah good then. Need to stop worrying about them, no doubt ill notice something else dodgy in the next few rides haha. Thanks or the help
  17. Hahaha will do So i take it that this is normal, yes? I dont get it?...
  18. The reason I got scared of it is because when I pushed on them my mates were like 'Woah oh my god that's mental that's scary' etc haha.
  19. Hi, I've got a set of try all carbon bars and when I push down on the grips with most of my weight they flex/bend down a bit. I can't feel it when I'm riding but when I do that or have the bike upside down and push the wheel down hard they flex. Is this normal? Constantly worrying about these bars haha. Thanks
