I recently burst my crossover pipe and I'm Going to cut the amount of hose needed of my current hose as it's way to long. The crossover you can buy on tartty which is already fitted with barbed fittings has 2 different sizes (m6/m8) comes with an olive and shroud nut. I'm confused as to why I would need them?
Could I not just buy 2 barbed fittings, put them into the cut hose and put them onto my brake without a shroud nut and olive?
And are the barbed fittings the same size but the m6/m8 is referring to something else to do with the other parts on the cylinder?
Sorry if it's confusing, don't really know how to explain what I'm confused about haha.
Cheers
Edit : I'm using the newer cylinders if that helps.
