  1. So what will happen if I don't use the compression ring?
  2. I don't really know how to explain it because I've lost it haha. Pretty certain it was just a black ring with a slit in it though, sat at the very top of the headset to cover up the bits inside the cup. If you know what I mean, is it important?
  3. There is one on the forks I had on right at the bottom of the steerer (stuck on pretty tight!). Is this the whole crown race or is the bit which sits between the stem and the top bit of the headset also part of it? Cheers
  4. They don't have black disc 2012 ones in stock and I'm a bit put off the 2012 ones as my mates have faded to a greenish colour haha Thanks for the help though, will be ordering the 09's this week
  5. Hi, I'm planning on ordering echo urban 09s this week and I'm wondering if There's anything I need to do to them before fitting them to my bike? I've seen that the 2012 versions already have an integrated crown race, do these forks have/need one? I'm running the echo SL headset if it helps Cheers
  6. So finally after 3 years, I snapped my DOB magnesium forks :(

That's what I've been hearing all those years haha, they were on another bike for over a year before I had them too :P

  7. Really small questions thread has been deleted I believe I would pronounce it like 'haze'
  8. Did some gaps im pretty proud of today This one is about 7ft 2" And this is about 7.5ft (not flat, obviously )
  9. Watched about half of it cos i dont like long videos haha Definitely look better on mod although more variation in the moves/lines would have made it better. Good video though bud, take it you're back in inverness now?
  10. Looks really nice. Think a rear black rim and double White rim tape would make it look even better
  11. What frame is it? Does it have a separate welded on piece of metal for the bash mount ( think it's called a gusset?) If it does then I don't know if It will work. I'm not sure on how to actually drill it though, I'll find out for you tomorrow
  12. It is possible yeah, Ive got a hole for the bash mount on mine
  13. Depends what one you get. The '09 echo lites came in short (1000 wb) and long (1020 wb), the 2011 were 1020 wb and the 2012 version is 1000wb. Can't say anything about any of the older echoes however. Also answering your original question, I know 2 people with koxx yellows and they're really nice bikes to ride, really bouncy and easy to flick about
  14. 41" sidehop, 37" side to back, 37" frenchie, and started properly doing gap to fronts and can get 6ft up a pallet now
  15. Stack of pallets with another pallet slightly slanted against them. They're not proper hooks I suppose, but that's what people around here call them.
  16. I do hooks a fair bit (not vertical or static ones though) and im starting to do alot of stuff to front so im not keen on the idea of them
  17. Definitely not SL's, looking for something stronger than what i've already got haha! But yeah a black stem is definite
  18. The forks are knackered haha, theyre DOB magnesiums from years ago. Getting a set of urbans in a month or so and probably a new stem but I quite like the black cranks. Cheers
  19. did some things to my ice - New wheels New rear tyre new rear brake Finally cut the brake hose and put it through the frame Tell me what you think
  20. Does it matter if the cylinders are at different angles when the crossover is tight? Do you just put both into the clamps and it will bend to that shape over time?
  21. Hi, my new crossover and lever arrived today but I'm having problems with them. Firstly, I was putting my new lever blade into my lever body and my spring and piston popped out. Stupidly I put the piston in before the spring so how do I get it out? Secondly it was the m6/m8 already built crossover with shroud nut and olive I bought. I just tried to put the olive and shroud nut side on and it got really tight when threads were still showing. I took it out and the olive was completely crushed. Is it ok for some threads to be showing pr am I doing something wrong? Thanks
  22. Can't really see how sideways you're going in the video, but from the angle its videod at you definitely need to go more side on. You're taking off from a nice position on the pallet, not too far on the edge and not too far back so if you're comfortable then that seems fine. Maybe try smaller hops/less hops to get you to where you want to take off from, and pre-loading some more will help you aswell
